"Tried Marques for the first time with a group of 8 friends. Made reservations and were seated promptly when we arrived. The crowd was light on that Saturday night, but the service was fairly slow. This is my ONLY complaint about this establishment. The atmosphere and vibe of this place are great! I got the (all white) fried chicken with two sides (mac and cheese and blue cheese coleslaw). Also added two additional sides, as the cost was minimal. I have to say that the fried chicken may have been the best I've ever had. The sides were fantastic as well. I also believe that the value might the be best in town. An additional feature of this restaurant is that you can add items a-la-cart. People in our party added single chicken wings, tenders, and even pieces of fish to their entrees. The cost of these "add-ons" was VERY reasonable! If you haven't given Marques a try, I would HIGHLY recommend it! You will NOT be disappointed! We will be back very soon!!!"

"My first trip here. Place was totally booked but we were able to sit at the bar. (Make a reservation if there is a show playing at the Goodyear Theater that night.) Our service was great and fun. Great drink selection. And I had the fried chicken, okra, and candied yams and if I didn’t have a show to go to I might still be there eating. It was De-LISH!!!"

"Wings was way too big they do have flavor but just too jumbo for me the price of the food is over priced the server lady was way too rude asked her for water she gave me sink water nowhere friendly I rate this place 0-10 I’ll give them a 5 only because the vegan bowl was flavorful not sure what gratitude is But she didn’t deserve a tip had to rise my hand up for them to fill my glass up with more water .. ok experience"

"Staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu choices. First time in a very long time, I was able to enjoy everything on my plate! The fish was excellent and the sides were delicious. Fast and friendly service is rare these days. Highly recommend. I am an out of towner passing through BTW."

"This place has been on my list to visit for a few weeks and I finally made it in. The blackened salmon was a bit over seasoned but cooked perfectly. The fried okra and black eyed peas were delicious beyond words. I enjoyed the max and cheese and yams. I was able to make a second meal out of this. They skimped on nothing. Very nice ambiance. Plenty of parking. Attentive staff. Efficient service. I visited on a weekend during the late afternoon and was able to take a call and work remotely. The music added to a fantastic experience.
