"I was so impressed I didn’t even take any pictures.. By far one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Ohio. Super comfortable, nostalgic and well priced! Hits all the right criteria! Food was amazingly delicious! Our server, Sicily, was outstandingly nice and helpful! And the ambience speaks for itself! You’ll have to check it out to experience it for yourself. I have already recommended this place to a number of friends and plan on recruiting more! Great job guys! Keep it up and stay classy! The Matilda cake was over the top, “You can do it Bruce!” lol!"

"I’ve been following and LOVING Square Scullery since the food truck days. I have never once been dissatisfied with their food or service. We recently went (I believe it was opening weekend) and everything was awesome. Our server was very attentive. The food and drinks were amazing! We sat near the kitchen which was also very fun to watch. We ended the night with the Matilda cake to go. The decor is absolutely stunning and unique. We cannot wait to go back. Such a fun new staple for North Hill."

"I was looking forward to the grand opening on this new location since they announced it. Like….checking for the reservations constantly to post. So when we finally reserved a table, I was super excited because I really like the first location! Unfortunately, the food was horrendous. We ordered the mellow jello which was beet jello (?) with salty cucumbers and greens, served with chips…(again…???) it was super bland yet overtaken by the taste of salt. We ordered the mussels which I liked but everyone else did not like. For our meal, I asked the server if the duck was a big portion because I was starving. She said it was small because the plates are meant to be shared. I asked her if the chicken was a good portion and she said it was one of the largest portions on the menu. I’ve attached a picture of it. It was literally four little slices of chicken. My friend got the duck and it was huge. This really pissed me off because I was HANGRY. I think that staff knowledge is really important and when you tell guests one thing, it shouldn’t be the complete opposite. My other friends got burgers. This is hard to mess up, right? Well somehow it was terrible. No cheese, barely any toppings. No onion no tomato and the bread was stale? And hard….it was so disappointing considering they ordered the burgers to play it safe. The drinks were weak, they tasted like a 20 something year old made them in their college apt…bland, boring, weak…again, really shocking. I understand when new restaurants have to work out kinks but this isn’t their first restaurant. They’ve been in the business and their other restaurant is great. The prices are absolutely insane for the food quality, size and the area they’re in. It’s north hill…just doesn’t make sense. I wouldn’t complain about the prices if the food was up to par but it simply was not. I guess I’ll just stick to their first location -_-"

"We were so excited to go to the new restaurant spot in North Hill and WOW was it awesome! We went mid-afternoon on a Saturday to make sure we could take our time and take it all in! First, the decor and atmosphere is amazing. There is nothing in North Hill like this and was really needed. The staff was so friendly and attentive, seemed genuinely happy to be there and spend time with you. I posted the menus, they have denoted they are starting with less options to add more later but there is still a great selection, tons of gf, vegetarian, and vegan choices/substitutions. We didn't get drinks but we sat on the bar side and saw a number of drinks being made with fresh ingredients and such care by the bartenders. We will definitely try a cocktail next time! They also have some lovely mocktails which is such a nice touch. Each table has some picked vegetables when you are seated, loved this! I ordered a side salad and the scallops. I didn't get a photo of the salad but I have to say it was amazing! I could have just eaten a large of that. So much flavor and so unique. I've never been so excited about a side salad! The scallops were also outstanding and met my high expectations. Cooked perfect, dressed amazing! Only two small notes on the dish. First, the scallops are warm (perfect), the coconut creme was cold (refreshing), the cabbage puree was room temp so I'm unsure if it cooled off or was cold and warmed by the scallops but the temp was odd and distracting but had good flavor. My second note, serve with a spoon so you can get all that coconut because you will want to lick that plate! My husband got the mother clucker and was very impressed. I tried the grits and they were so flavorful with perfect texture! Should use them and create an amzing play on shrimp and grits! He denoted the chicken was prefect, only wished there was another piece or two in ratio to the grits. Overall one of our top 10 meals ever locally and we will be back to try more menu options soon! Reservations are a must so be sure to plan ahead!"

"Ordered the kimchi fries, a few of the bao: pork belly, quack, lobster roll. As well as the pork belly fried rice. Everything was phenomenal! Don't sleep on this place!"
