Swensons Drive-In

"I would have liked to have given more stars. As this has been one of my favorite restaurants for over 30 years. This location definitely went downhill!!! Last time I went I parked right in the parking lot with my lights on smoking entire Newport 100 cigarette which is about 10 to 12 minutes and never once did anybody bring me a menu or ask me what I wanted. SMH!!! But honestly probably a good thing. Last couple times before that I had my usual Galley boys but could not digest them. Definitely skimping on the quality of the beef!!! Tastes like your standard fast food ground beef with 11% cellulose filler which is a fancy name for "wood pulp". Don't know if I'll be coming back here anymore"

"I recently just started a new job near this area and was looking for a good lunch spot, I had never had Swenson's before so decided to try it out. I was extremely pleased with the quality and timeliness of the customer service. Larry was a big help to me guiding me through the menu while being very polite and not rushing a new costumer like me. After deciding he was quick in his manner to get my order in and back out to me all while having a smile on his face, especially in this weather. In made my day better being treated so kindly and receiving such great customer service, I am sure I will be back!!"

"First time stopping at a Swensons. We waited a bit to get our order taken, and then a good while for our food. We did have 5 people, so the food wait was understandable considering they appeared to be on the busy side. My crispy chicken was absolutely delicious. Milkshakes were good as well. Given we placed a big order there wasn't one single thing incorrect with our order!"

"I know Swensons has had some issues with quality as the company has grown fast. Every now and then the family gives it a try and I have to say the Montrose stand last night nailed it! Some of the best cheeseburgers we have had in years. I just spoke with a Mgr over the phone to let him know about our experience and if I'd known the cheeseburgers were going to be that good I would've doubled our order! Keep up the good work!"

"One of the better spots to get a galley boy. Service at this location is phenomenal. Kitchen was fast in making my order and a larger takeout order. I've heard the salty olive is supposed to be eaten first before taking a bite out of the savory and sweet burger. The burger patty itself has a unique flavor, and the tartar sauce / BBQ mix settles any doubts about its distinct taste. I usually get some potato teasers. PB & Grape shake should replace vanilla and chocolate as the standard shake flavor."
