The Christ Hospital Outpatient Center - Red Bank

"I recently had the unfortunate need to visit Christ Urgent Care -Red Bank due to a medical concern, and I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was nothing more than a number in a line of patients to be processed and dismissed as quickly as possible. Firstly, the receptionist's attitude was incredibly off-putting. Not only was he rude and dismissive, but his lack of empathy was palpable. It's disheartening to walk into a healthcare facility when you're already feeling unwell, only to be met with such an unwelcoming demeanor. As for the medical attention I received, it was apparent that the doctor was more interested in moving on to the next patient than actually understanding my concerns. I felt rushed during the entire consultation, with the doctor barely taking the time to listen to my symptoms and history. It's extremely frustrating to try and convey your health issues when you can practically see the clock ticking in the background. I left with more questions than answers and without a clear understanding of my condition or the recommended treatment plan. It's disappointing to see a healthcare facility that claims to provide "urgent care" fall so short in terms of patient-centered care. The lack of attention to patients' needs, combined with an unprofessional and impolite receptionist, made this visit an experience I wouldn't wish upon anyone. I will say that the medical assistant was lovely and the saving grace of the entire visit. I hope that they take these criticisms to heart and strive to improve their patient interactions and overall service quality in the future. Until then, I would caution others to consider alternative options for their urgent medical needs."

"My wife had a negative experience with a poorly performed nasal swab today. She informed the doctor, Richard Ohmer, about the abnormal pain she experienced, but her discomfort was dismissed as if it were routine to cause someone's entire face to hurt for 15 minutes after a simple swab. Fortunately, it's abnormal for us to experience such poor quality of care from medical staff in this network."

"Walked in to get a blood test at the lab draw suite one morning before work. For the amount of patients already there, the line moved pretty fast. The tech was personable and professional. Made the whole process smooth and painless! Glad I stopped by and would be happy to go back for another routine test."

"This has been my Endocrinologist’s office for years. Dr Barbara Ramlo-Halsted and the team there are all exceptional. The nurse practitioner, Trish is also incredible. The staff is friendly, facilities are clean and they also have an on-site lab for blood work. Highly recommend this practice!"

"Every time I have an appointment in the Orthopedic office it always goes smoothly. Typical wait times are no later than a couple minutes after your appointment time if they're busy, but obviously if you arrive early you'll be waiting until around your time. Typical wait time in a room varies due to where you are in line and how extensive other people need to talk to the doctor. The longest I've ever waited was 20 minutes, but it was also a last-minute appointment more on the urgent side, so I was ok with waiting a little longer since I had to be seen ASAP. The staff is always friendly and helpful; I've never had any issues with anyone or with trying to make an appointment. I highly recommend this location."
