Denny's

"It has been over 15 years since the last time I visited Denny's. No particular reason why other than the nearest location is just far enough it requires a special trip to visit. We saw a show at playhouse square last night and we were hungry after. On the drive home, the options were IHOP or Denny's. Since it had been so long, we wanted to give Denny's a shot. Overall, it is amazing how familiar everything was. This restaurant hasn't seemed to change at all, which was actually surprisingly refreshing and familiar. Menu staples like moons over my hammy are still on the menu. I was happy to see some more lower calorie tailored options and calories counts on the menus. That is something I always greatly appreciate. Service was ridiculously quick and we got our food in what feels like minutes after ordering. I ended up ordering the veggie omelette with egg whites, fruit cup, and white toast. The omelette was cooked great and the veggies inside meshed well. The fruit cup mix, why doesn't every restaurant do this???? I absolutely hate honeydew and cantaloupe and every restaurant always has those most present in their mixed fruit dishes. Denny's, banana, strawberry, and grapes. I was very happy with that mix and it has ruined fruit cup offerings for me at other restaurants. This location specifically used to visit all the time when visiting a friend in the area and it was great then and still great now. One of the better Denny's locations I have come across in the Cleveland area."

"I placed an order online for a Moons over my hammy got home and seen they forgot to put the ham on the moons over my HAMmy. I called they told me they would remake so I was ok with that (I should've just got a refund) get home looked at the sandwich they gave me egg scraps and a thin piece of ham never again ( waitress was nice cooks are horrible)"

"Service was friendly. That was basically the only good thing. This location is so disgusting it seems like it was in need of a renovation decades ago. What used to be carpet on the floors is now so worn down and coated in gunk that it's basically a sticky hard floor. The booth had a giant hole in it that was duct taped over; when I sat down it bottomed out, and I'm not a heavy person. I don't even want to know what the kitchen looks like. I got biscuits and gravy, eggs, and sausage. The biscuits and gravy was extremely salty and had no flavor other than salt."
