"Was amazing except long wait time was there for almost an hour before they told us our food wasn’t ready so we took it to go instead. Sit there for 15 min waiting to be served. Drinks were $4 a person. Service was great and had a good positive attitude. Other than that we enjoyed it"
"Good food, friendly staff, sparse interior (but I didn't go for the walls). Plenty of parking and seating. Would return."
"Great food, great service, cute and modern vibes. Just went for the strawberry French toast and it was Devine. I will definitely be coming back for their mimosa brunch!"
"This is a COVID era review. All protocols were in place. This Poked Yolk location is tucked out of the way in a small shopping center. The interior is minimal but modern. Some good alt rock music plays unobtrusively in the back ground. On my quest to sample every serving of biscuits and gravy in my ever changing immediate surroundings, I decided to see what this little venue had to offer. The biscuits are light and fluffy, but dense enough to support a generous portion of sausage gravy. They are also slightly on the sweet side. The gravy was creamy and delicious, with the sausage evenly distributed in tiny pieces. Good coffee here, too. Service was stretched a little thin, there only being one server for the time I was there, so I was forgiving on that front. The server was diligent and very sweet nonetheless. I will go back and try the diverse menu. Limited hours here, with daily breakfast specials for $4.99 from 7 to 11am, and open till 3pm. Hope this can be a regular place to breakfast. UPDATE: My visit today was not as enjoyable as my last visit, so I deducted a star. Arrived around noon to a mostly empty lobby. Once again there was only one server, Phoenix, but he was diligent and attentive. I tried the chicken and biscuit from the brunch menu. The chicken tenders, ironically, were not tender. The gravy was thick and pasty. The side of home fries (diced potatoes) came on a slick film of grease. This was not the quality I have experienced in the past. I suppose I will have to limit my visits to earlier hours when the food is fresher. This felt like getting leftovers."
