"If you could light taste on fire! I could barely stop myself to take a picture, this meal earned it. I did the build your own, Veggie broth, shoyu tare, black garlic, woods ear, fried tofu, fried onions, softboiled egg, menma and bean sprouts at a spice level 3. All the ingredients were of good quality and the overall flavor was exemplary. Couldn't recommend more!"

"In hopes of the ownership seeing this: Rokaru has been a go-to for me for a while, but my most recent visit was one of the worst I've had at a restaurant in general in the past couple years. I brought 4 friends who have never been. We waited an hour to be seated (not unusual during the dinner rush, no problem). Once sat, we weren't given menus and didn't see the server for another 25 minutes. We found the menus online and ordered without fuss, knowing it was busy. Food came out relatively fast, and every single order was wrong. One member of our group ordered vegetarian options for both appetizer and main dish, and was given pork/chicken. When confronted, our server advised us that it is our responsibility to notify them of dietary restrictions before ordering, and that it's printed clearly on the menus (that she never brought us). When questioned about individual bills being wrong, we were told "well the bamboo (and almost every other add-on that was wrong) was in one of the orders I brought out." There were no apologies given other than "This has never happened before," which is not an apology. Each of us have worked in the service industry and understand how difficult a dinner rush can be, but this was just terrible. My vegetarian friend experienced a mild stomach issue because of this and won't give Rokaru a second chance now solely because of how poorly this was handled. I don't blame her. Disappointed :(."

"So immediately charmed by this place. the atmosphere is so good. The murals on the walls, the pictures, the action figures. It's all great. They have a robot cat server that brings the food (though my food was just brought out by the human waitress). My waitress was extremely observant and attentive in a good way. I got the tonkatsu ramen and a Thai milk tea and both items were outstanding. The ramen is probably one the best I've had in the city (the only potential rival is Cafe Mochiko) the speed at which they brought out the food was absolutely incredible. it took maybe 5 minutes. Can't wait to come back and try the fried chicken next time!"

"Stopped by Rokaru Ramen for lunch today and it was my first time there. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen and thought it was absolutely delicious. I thought the portion size was just a tad smaller than other ramen restuarants I have been to in the Cincinnati area, but flavor wise, Rokaru is probably my new favorite. Service was great too! I sat down and ordered within a couple of minutes and my food was out in less than 5 minutes. I've heard about the kitty robot that brings your food out to you. I saw it parked in the corner of the restaurant...it was not being utilized this afternoon but I think it's a cute idea to make one's experience more fun. The only waitress working was friendly and efficient. I probably only spent 20-25 minutes in the restaurant total so it's great for those that need a quick lunch. They have a few different types of ramen or you can create your own. There are also rice dishes and several different types of appetizers. Blue Ash is kinda out of the way for me but I'll definitely be back when I'm in the area!"

"Went yesterday for my birthday. I can’t lie and say I didn’t wanna come JUST for the cat server robot, because I did. It was super cute seeing him bring food to tables and made it all worth on its own. The staff were super nice and very patient with our group of 9, half of them being late. The food was AMAZING! Super good!!! The pink lemonade was the bomb. It was definitely worth the 2 HOUR drive we took to go. Can’t wait to go again!"
