"Family used to frequently go there for lunch or early dinner, recently around lunch , the food was cold!! Tried to enjoy but unbelievable cold almost like it was taken from the fridge. Certain areas are closed off, but the food was not worth paying for. It took over half an hour to begin getting heat. People kept coming for lunch, place was very clean, no excuse for cold food. I recommend owners come in at 7:00 am and prepare dishes. It was a favorite and used to receive a 10."
"Is not a Hibachi anymore, so that's false advertisement. Also when we got there at around 7pm on Friday there was absolutely no sushi, where it was was empty. Asked the server about the sushi and she just said "no more." So no "sushi bar" as advertised. I am Vegan so there was nothing except white rice and a little veg from salad area so I ordered steamed Veggies. Everywhere else I get this and it's a massive plate, she brought it out and it was a little bit that would fit on an appetizer plate! Husband said the food tasted like it'd been there since lunch and the sweet and sour sauce was empty and they never refilled it."
"I hadn't been here since before the pandemic in 2020, but I believe it was the best Chinese buffet around. I was so excited to finally go back, but that excitement ended rather quickly. Most of the food was cold, so I'm assuming the burners weren't working properly. The egg rolls were just sad. The vegetables that are inside are supposed to be somewhat crunchy, but they were the consistency of baby food. Just mush! The dessert cakes were good. That's really all I could stomach to eat."
"I hate to say it, but the Empire has fallen. We loved this place for years (my previous 5 star review held on for 3+), but tonight was the straw that broke the camel's back after a slow decline over many months. The sticky floor was the first clue, followed by the scant offerings - I'd say only about 30% of the options you're paying for are even available, with maybe 20% of those items being edible, around 10% of that 20% the right temperature and texture, and no more than 10% of that 10% being good, or at least not entirely bad. No amount of communication from anyone (it wasn't just us), tactful or otherwise, makes any difference to the staff - they just send somebody out to stir it. And the Hibachi has been missing so long it could be on Cold Case Files. But the kicker is the lack of any working plumbing in the men's room. When somebody walks out of the john saying, "That's it!" - well, folks - that's it! Note: pic of table full of plates is the "before"... and the rest- well, you tell me."
"I read some alarming reviews about this place after I visited. Hopefully those weren't accurate. That said, going to any buffet is ideally done when traffic is steady. This generally forces out of necessity, fresh food being replenished on said bar. Our food was decent over all."
