"Great local place! Onion rings were as good as the hype and insanely huge. We had some burgers and BBQ sandwiches at the table and everyone was happy with their meals."

"This is a family favorite and somewhere I've been multiple times over the years. Food is always delicious, restaurant is clean and well kept, and staff is friendly. I love that part of the restaurant feels like an old, European hunting lodge. Fried chicken here is a classic. Their pimento cheese appetizer is great as is the pecan crusted chicken. I'm personally not a fan, but many people I know love the hot coleslaw here too."

"We’ve been regulars at the Greyhound Tavern for years. It always offers excellent service and food, offering well executed Southern/Kentucky tavern fare. Of particular note and renown is the family style chicken dinner, offered Mondays & Tuesdays. A more than generous platter of fried chicken is offered, with traditional sides - green beans with ham, mashed potatoes, chicken gravy, coleslaw, and buttermilk biscuits. Seconds are available for the sides. Every visit, chicken night or not, is a positive, enjoyable experience."

"Interior decoration are cute. They have good onion rings. I did try pecan chicken is was yummy but when I eat half way, It taste a little too sweet. Hot slaw a bit too vinegar"

"Went to Greyhound Tavern for dinner after Church. The outside of the building is very elegant and has a charm about it. The service and staff here are very attentive and professional. The meal was the best part of the night. We had the fried chicken, grilled pork chops, and fried cod. I would recommend all three items to anyone. The chicken was well seasoned and fried to a perfect golden brown. Not a heavy breading.The outside was crispy and very juicy inside. The peach chutney on the pork was absolutely delicious. Recommend sides are the mashed potatoes and beef gravy, and the ceasar salad. Overall, this was a fantastic evening and wonderful meal. If you enjoy great homestyle food and a relaxing time, this is your place to come. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this to everybody."
