"Wife: "Let's get Chinese carryout, from The Asian Place." Husband: "Okay, from what restaurant?" Wife: "The Asian Place." Husband: "I know, but what's the name of the restaurant?" Wife: "I just told you. The Asian Place." Husband: [confused look] ???? Seriously, a version of this plays out every time we order carryout from this restaurant! Definitely could use a better name. But the food is great, and they have updated their atmosphere to a more clean modern vibe, but with intimate booths. Everything I have ordered has been great; I particularly like the orange beef. Some of the best tasting basics I've had, like egg drop soup and shrimp fried rice. They have worked hard to keep this business going through the pandemic; please support this local business!"

"Love Asian Place!!! Tonight I ordered the broccoli beef and hubby ordered the special which was a spicy pork dish. Both came out steaming hot and beyond delicious! He cleaned his plate, I had leftovers for today. We always order the crab Rangoon and some type of soup (tonight we ordered egg drop) knowing we will leave stuffed. We started coming here because they are OPEN ON MONDAYS."

"We wanted to come here specifically for the Ma Po Tofu since few restaurants actually carry this in the tri-state area. The restaurant was well-decorated and clean, with plenty of tables for families or larger parties. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive and stopped by multiple times to top off our water and ask how everything tasted. The food itself was quite good and came in a larger bowl. Asian Place is quite a bit more expensive than your average restaurant, with most entrees being $13.95 or more. I do think the portion sizes and aesthetic of the restaurant warrant the higher price, but with that in mind it probably wouldn't be the top choice for your weekly Asian cuisine fix."
