"A wonderful little place. It was clean and well maintained and the food was good. The portions are giant! 2 people could easily share a half of nachos. The only downside was the service was a little slow, but that was because there was only one waitress. She was working her butt off. She was very personable and kind and made sure to take time for each table. Definitely recommend!"
"Food was really good! Drink selection seems limited. Our waiter was really good! Also, we tend to judge from the git go based upon the chips and salsa... their's was good!"
"Annie is our favorite waitress. Pic is of my chicken enchiladas. They never disappoint. The chips & salsa is delicious! Prices reasonable."
"Overall Experience: The Boro was busy. Most of the tables were taken and the staff was working the big parties. The Staff were not stressed; taking time to be pleasant and attentive to everyone. TV lined the walls; showing a wide variety of events, from speed hamster shaving to hydrofoil racing. Not too noisy. Just another sports bar environment. The food was pricey, ten plus for majority of items on the menu. Quality of food received was not aligned with the cost. Some things were good while others bad. I think inconsistency was more of an issue here. Food I had during the 2/19/23 visit: - Dip Trio - Chimichanga, Verde style, with Mexican rice and refried beans How was the food... Let's start with the Dip Trio (3/5) ... We selected Ranch, Queso Blanco, Chile con Queso ... It was okay. The queso was creamy and cheesy. Chorizo had lots of good spice and flavor. My least favorite was the ranch. It was served with ruffled potato chips. Chimichanga, Verde style, with Mexican rice and refried beans I need to break this meal down into its different parts... Main Dish) chimichanga pork carnitas Verde style. (4/5) This was good. The lime and cilantro went very well with the pork. Overall, texture of the deep fried tortilla was well done and crisp. And the portion was appropriate. If I come back I would get this again. Side 1) Mexican Rice (1/5) overcooked white rice with no flavor with some reddish sauce Side 2) Refried Beans (1/5) look closely at the picture in this review. The beans may have been cooked a third time on the plate. I was not able to eat them. Fun fact, I was able to pick up a piece and crumble it between my fingers. It was bad, no moisture."
"Great food and staff. Sit at the bar with Sophia pulling beers and awesome margaritas. Be patient, limited staff because, well, you know. Support your local family owned business."
