"I had a horrible experience at the dollar general store at Winchester Indiana. There was a guy named Brandon or Brenden working there on a Saturday evening and I had a couple of transactions with the $5/$25, and he refused to ring me up because he said if I had a digital$5/$25 then I couldn't use a paper one because you're only allowed one $5/$25 transaction. I know multiple people, who at the same DG, use multiple transactions on multiple accounts and don't have any problems...I only have one account and I didn't think it was right for him to refuse to ring me up because I had more than I transaction... All the other DG stores that I have been to said that you can use as many $5/$25 as you have as long as you're spending $25 in the purchase..I tried to call corporate but no one returned my call. But I feel I was not treated fairly."

"Wow, one of the worst DG I have visited. Sign on door warning they will not accept legal currency if in hundred dollar bill form. Not even sure they can legally do that! Also a sign stating 70 percent off certain dot colors. I finally find the "clearance isle". Should have taken a picture. Laid out on tables running down an entire isle , piled high like a goodwill yard sale, the clearance isle. Guess what! No dots of the 70 percent variety but lots of other colored dots for 25 percent. Customer service was horrible at best. I finally found a dot of the right color! Turns out it's the right color but wrong type of item? I would say stay clear of this one. My first and last visit to this location. There are more just a short drive away to farmland with friendlier staff!"

"The place look great with the remodel. But the best thing is most of the ladies are so very nice. My 2 yr old granddaughter knows most by man. The all talk to her and my granddaughter calls them (my friend) And it is defiantly cleaner than the Union city one."
