"Wish i could rate a zero…do not recommend. I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment with the service I have received from your dealership. I have been dealing with an issue with my “pre-owned” vehicle for over a month now, I purchased a used car from Larry, who conveniently no longer works for your dealership. If you look at the records in this car, you can see that the ETC code was originally found back in 7/3/23. Again, I state that I bought it on 8/26/23 and have only driven approximately 300 miles because of this issue. The same code came back on 9/13/23, and I had to go through Hyundai because luckily it hadn’t hit 60k yet. I have not been able to drive the car since then. I wasn’t able to get into an official dealer until 10/4/2023. I am just out a car until the parts come in at the end of November and they have time to dissemble the whole car because of the issues. The multifuse is melting, and the harness needs to be replaced. The harness touches ever electrical part in the car. I do not understand how a dealership can sell a car that had previous codes that were removed and not checked out. I was able to see that this car has been having electrical issues on Auto Trader since 9/2022. When I dropped it off for them to investigate the issue, the mirrors no longer would pop out, and it wouldn’t start on the first try along with many other issues. I am disappointed that when I called to talk to Mark, the manager, he said all cars are checked by their StepOne Ford location. “People are human and can make mistakes”. However, as a customer who paid cash for a vehicle that has been nothing but trouble since day one, I would have never bought this car knowing it had previous electronic issues. I hope someone at StepOne will make sure all their pre-owned cars are truly being checked. This situation has left me never wanting to buy from a used dealer again."
