Central Admixture Pharmacy Services

Central Admixture Pharmacy Services (CAPS) is the nation's largest network of outsourcing admixture pharmacies, located at 3125 Commerce Parkway in Miramar, Florida. Established in 1991, CAPS offers high-quality admixture services and solutions to hospitals and outpatient facilities across the United States. With 22 503A regional pharmacies and two 503B outsourcing facilities registered with the FDA, CAPS can meet both patient-specific and non-patient-specific compounding needs.

CAPS' Test Hold and Release (THR®) program ensures quality assurance in compliance with cGMP standards set by the Drug Quality and Security Act. The institution provides a variety of sterile admixture services, including custom parenteral nutrition solutions, premixed medications, and specialized bags for neonatal care and cardioplegia.
