"I found the posting for a Arcade 1up machine. I went to this shop. We talked about pricing. I was worried that it may not work. He said it’s brand new in box. We agreed on $150. Seems pretty fair. We checked out at the register, the register says $150. I noticed on the receipt and my bank later on, I was charged $167.70. $17.70 over the price we agreed on and that’s not Florida’s tax percentage either. So I’m thinking okay whatever my fault, I guess I’ll give it as a tip since it’s a family owned business. Me and my partner built it together. Had all the parts, build correctly, nice looking machine. Plug it in… and it doesn’t work. I contact him to let him know that it does not work. Different attempts to make sure the parts are connected correctly. Explained to him. He mention maybe you built it wrong. My family is quite tech savvy so we knew it was either the pcb board or monitor/screen. He offered an exchange or a $25 store credit. Yes, I’m aware I’m out of luck and really nothing more I can do. Overall I have an arcade still sitting in a room that will need replacement that will cost over the offered store credit and I got charged $17.70 above what we agreed. I really wish the arcade worked, I was looking forward to playing with friends. So yeah, I bought an arcade that doesn’t work for $167.70 at this shop, Jax Bargain Center (Liquidation & Bin store.) I did let him know that the store credit was a no for me and I’ll have to write a review and apologized, just out of respect. He’s a nice man, I wish you luck."
