"Definitely a "run away" type company. If you are reading this review before considering them, you are welcome. There are SO MANY better companies in the area, cheaper, too. Called for service and it couldn't be more painful. Left message in the morning and get call back 5 hours later. The overall vibe was "we don't really care" ... "Monday between 10 - 2" - Ok, what's the latest they can come out? "That's it, we only go there during that time".... Ok, great.... "And to let you know, cash or check only, no credit cards".... Welcome to 2016, Broward Appliance. I told her it's a tenant's location and I'd rather not have to drive all the way out there just to pay them. Can they send me a bill so I can pay by check? "Nope, we won't do that" ... "Cash or check only - so, what do you want to do?" Well, I guess I need to see if I can be out there to pay your guy. "Ok, bye". This is a company who really, really doesn't care. So I'm going to not care, too. You don't get my 5 properties. Ok, bye."
"Stay away! this guy is exactly the opposite of what his website says. He was overpriced and rude. He wanted me to pay him to replace a hose that was clogged before he even looked at it to determine whether he could unclog it. When i asked him why i should pay for a new hose before he even removed it to see if it could be unclogged, his educated answer was "because that's the way I always do it" and when i asked him why he wanted me to pay him $150 in labor for replacing a hose (which he admitted was not a labor-intensive job), he said "because you are paying for my experience"---which made even less sense after he gave me his poor excuse for replacing the hose. Stay away!"
"Consumer Beware. These people are Unbelievable. They made me order a part that it turns out another repair company said I never needed. The problem was just a little ice buildup in the freezer. After jumping through all of their hoops to get this "special order" part (they do not take credit cards and insisted I pay by check in the mail before they got the part even thought I already paid for a service call), another part turned out to be necessary. After refusing to just order the part for me if I paid for it, they insisted on coming out again. From the get go the man seemed like he didn't want to fix my fridge. If that was the case, he should have just told me that instead of wasting over a month of my time. They came out again, gave me a price, and I said I would let them know after discussing the new estimate with my fiance. When I called to say go ahead, they informed me that because of the nature of this part, it might or might not work. I told them that I could not believe they wanted me to spend over $400 for a repair that they would not stand behind. In the end, after discussing it with my fiance, we decided to go ahead with only the original estimate, since we had already paid $75 towards that repair as well as paid for the part. They refused to do the repair at all, refused to give me back the part that I paid for, refused to refund my money for the service call during which they did not even open my refrigerator. I have used them in the past for about three or four repairs... never again. I'm sure that they thought I was really hard to get along with, but I just couldn't understand why they wouldn't stand behind their repair, or tell me they just couldn't do it. The repair man that is at my house right now has absolutely no problem fixing this part. And by the way, his price for the part is half what there's was, as well as the fact that I don't need the "special order" part that they told me I did in the first place! BTW...he just happens to have that "special order" part on his truck... turns out it is a completely standard part. Just shows you how much you can be taken advantage of."
