My "new" fridges compressor wouldn't kick on and after calling the manufacturers repair/support line and being told it would be a week and a half till a tech could look even look at it so I'd give it a shot here. I explained the issue to Gene in hopes they had a part I could swap easily. He provided guidance on the issue and explained the service agreements in place with the manufacturer, and that it's best to wait for them to fix it or it could void the warranty if they suspected it was tampered with from someone other than their service department. It's solid advice and something the mfg did elude too when I called. Then Gene, under no obligation to help, proceeded to offer me a loaner fridge till the mfg repair service could get out and get mine fixed. He refused to take any sort of payment and said he just wanted to help and to return the loaner a few days after the repair was done. You don't find business owners like this these days, or people in general."

Then a couple weeks later the line to the ice maker was leaking, they came out to fix that, but since they had been there recently they helped me out with the service call.
