AdventHealth Credit Union- Altamonte

"I do NOT recommend putting your money with AdventHealth Credit Union (AHCU) and I'm ashamed they call themselves SDA and identify with the SDA church. Here's what happened: Dissatisfied with the things going on with our current bank (none of which affected us in any way but still it was worrisome), we were toying with the idea of changing banks. It is such a hassle, though, and one bank is about as bad as another. Since I have an account with a credit union from where I used to live and have always liked, we decided to set up an account with AHCU with plans to eventually switch everything over, but first we wanted to set something up and see how it would go. We deposited a check for around $1,350 with no intention of using it until we switched over everything. We did not touch the money...but AHCU did. Every single month they have charged us a service fee. For what? Using our money we never touch? This is nothing short of ungodly usury - stealing. No other institution I have banked with charges a fee for an average balance of over $1,000 which is why we chose that particular check. We will be cancelling this account, removing every. single. dime. and going with a more honest institution. Response to the "Owner"... I'm sure you "can't find a customer by that name". Riiiight."

For these reasons I will continue to finance my vehicles with AdventHealth Credit Union."
