He set us up with a guide -at ten PM, by the way- on short notice after our guide dropped us the night before we were due to go, helped us pick flies for when we were on our own, and was generally all around AWESOME. We will absolutely be back thanks to his amazing customer service and advice! I can't stress enough what a great shop this is and how fantastic Paul is. Absolute rock star, we're customers for life now!!!"

"I can't say enough good things about this great fly shop. I'm an avid flyfisher from Montana and was on my honeymoon in the everglades when I visited Mangrove Outfitters twice. This is not a boutique shop. It is legit in every way and is connected to a beer store! Paul literally saved our honeymoon when he stepped in to find us a guide after our guide (requested by another shop) bailed on us the day before we were supposed to go on a multi-day. The guide Paul set us up with on extremely short notice (Ron W) was fantastic and also hilarious. We had a great time with him and he helped us book an additional trip in another area of the state through his network. The shop is well stocked, has great merch, helpful employees, and the cool vibes you want in a shop. We'll be back again every time we're down in the glades!"

They’re always ready to recommend great spots, great guides, and give honest assessments of how the fishing is. Great selection of tying materials, flies, rods and reels, and clothing. "This shop was amazing! Definitely a game changer when it came to my fly fishing in Marco Island. I came in and they were so covid safe which I really appreciate. Then a quick ask and he set me up with the right info and flies to go catch some snook of the surf. Super personable and helpful. Went out with my new flies and second cast caught a nice one. The flies themselves were great quality as I used one all week with 13 fish and 20 missed bites and the thing never fell apart. Fantastic local fly shop that I will for sure be coming back to next year."

"This shop is terrific. They have lots of fly fishing equipment, tying equipment and materials, even a place to tie. I just came back from a morning trip with Patrick. We got lots of fish and I had a wonderful time. I'll be back for a repeat as soon as I come back to South Florida. This is a great place. Patrick put me on to fish all morning.in addition, he's more than a guide. He provided first class fly fishing equipment, rods and reels. He even took the fish off for me even though I've been fishing for over 40 years. Nice to know that there are guys who will still do that. I would call him a Ghillie."
