"The employees I've dealt with are great. They gave me a decent price for our old cleats, and had some really inexpensive used cleats that my son loves. They have plenty of new stuff, too. Such a great place to load up on sports gear that we drive down from Sanford."

"I used to frequently stop in to look for boxing/kickboxing gear, happened to be in the area not long ago and was amazed at the prices, even the used equipment cost more than new elsewhere or online, better off going to academy sports or online than paying those terribly inflated prices!"

"Honestly, the store clerk failed to even acknowledge me as he only assisted the white patrons in the store. When I asked another patron if he worked there, only then did the cashier say anything to me in a very rude manner. I walked out immediately because regardless of the color of my skin, my money spends probably better than any person in that store. I do not recommend any people of color to go into this store. Edit: Since I could not reply. It’s never about what’s said but always about how you say it. I stand behind my review. There were definitely less than 20 customers. The cashier that spoke with me was very rude. He never actually offered for anyone to help me. He said “there is somebody else working but they’re helping OUR customers” as if I was not being considered as one of those. I needed help with football cleats and had he said “We’ll be more than happy to help you in just a moment” then perfect, I would have waited. But I had to stand there for 10 minutes unacknowledged before he even spoke to me. It was not until I asked the other customer if he worked there that the cashier even acknowledged me. As a small business owner myself, I get it and I would never just make false accusations. But as an African American Woman, I know firsthand what discrimination looks and feels like and while you may be great, he was not. God bless."

"While visiting from Connecticut, my son wanted to play golf so we popped into Play It Again Sports Altamonte Springs to get some clubs for him. The store manager took the time to try out several club sizes and styles, and even gave him some tips and tricks! He then made sure we had the accessories we needed. Great store, great service, and great prices!"
