"horrible customer service and rude staff. i purchased some paint from here that was already tinted and on clearance.mind you I did not plan on returning the item and had no clue where the receipt went. I know home depot does returns without receipts as long as you have a valid photo id. i just purchased over 500 in fencing and an entire panel was cracked i returned it with no problem it was cracked and could not be resold unless it were being sold for scrap wood. and home depot was also just in my house two days ago installing a range. anyways back to the point. I finished prepping my wall and covering my floor and took the seal off of my 5 gallon bucket and the paint was half water other half rock hard paint. so I bring my item back to home depot and Jesse at the paint station tried mixing it twice for me and it turned into a white foam so than some lady comes over opens it and says that it didn't even look like paint it looks like someone put water in there well duh I'm no paint expert why do you think I brought it back. so than the manager comes finally after spending 30 min in the store and tells me that he cannot return it because he has no proof I purchased it from there i give these people plenty of business and im now practically being accused of putting water in the bucket and trying to scam home depot. the bucket of paint was originally 133 I paid 30 dollars so I asked the manager if he could look the transaction up how often does a $133 5 gallon bucket of paint go on sale for $30.....anyways his response was the only way I can look up the transaction is to look through an entire day of sales and I don't plan on doing that anytime soon........ seriously this is your job you get paid to satisfy and help your customers without us you have nothing.....his other reason for not being able to return it was because he can't resell it ok i don't understand i just returned a broken fence panel you can't resell that either... not only that you sold it to me rip somebody else off.i understand your return policy says you cannot returned tinted paint well I didn't have you guys tint the paint so technically I just purchased colored paint from you guys. I was sold very old paint for it to be drying up in a sealed container. and so much for calling customer service 1800 home depot because I get a busy signal every time I call...I've Been calling for two days now I press seven for customer care and just a busy tone......"
