"My husband and I got word of this company from our now retired handyman several years ago. Fast forward to Sept 2022, we bought a new condo which needed trim (crown, trim, base,etc) through out the unit. I remembered the company name and looked up address and made my way to this fantastic small family run company. Bob Buckalew, owner, made us feel like we were so important and his only priority! I feel like I went thru a trade school course. My favorite was all about pediments! I was all over that trim! The learning experience was so satisfying. Bob dropped everything he was doing that morning to tend to a couple of novices even though the next day he was headed on vacation to the Keys. He loaded me up with all kinds of samples I could take to our condo to help decide what to order. "We recently completed significant interior renovations to our home including 2 new staircases (one being a spiral staircase), wainscoting, removal of a large wall and re-routing plumbing & electrical. I contacted Bob Buckalew of Florida Building and Stair Supply and I was immediately impressed with their prior work as well as Bob's responsiveness and professionalism. Bob put me in touch with Paul Morizzo who designed, built and installed our project. I can't say enough about Paul, who was a true pleasure to deal with. He was very detailed and was excellent at communicating and listening to our needs or suggestions every step along the way. He is honest, fair, punctual and hard working to say the least which is increasingly difficult to find these days. He is solution-based and was able to customize several aspects. The finished product turned out fantastic, the pictures don't do it justice! Paul's knowledge and talent extend far beyond stairs as he not only built our 2 staircases and wainscoting, he also took out a major wall to open our kitchen to the great room while reinforcing support for the loft above. When other subs dragged their feet or struggled, Paul simply dove in by doing drywall, painting, plumbing and electrical. He was totally invested in seeing that our project was done right. Now we think of Paul and Florida Building and Stair Supply and what they did for us every time we open our front door! Paul's craftsmanship is etched all over the house! And the best thing is I met a true friend in Paul! Thank you Bob and Paul for an excellent job. Of the many home projects and subs we've encountered over the years, you stand above!
