"I truly do love going to this Ace Hardware. I understand that they may not be priced like a big box but you have to understand the value. Ace overall has employees that know their stuff, know their product and know their store. You always get a friendly greeting and I can almost guarantee you can’t walk through this place or most Ace Hardware stores without being asked if they can help you. You’re not searching for a guy that may or may not know what you talking about, doesn’t know what product solutions they have for you or even what isle that’s on in his store. If you buy it from Ace it’s typically a quality part or product that is going to be the right one for the job. The paint desk has great people and if you haven’t been in this particular Ace, you my friend are missing out. I’m actually headed over there this morning for something and I will actually drive past two large box stores and several other stores with similar items but it won’t be the same. From home decor to paint, from a new grill(I have the signature Sunshine Ace Hardware Blue Webber myself) to that odd size bolt you need in a high quality stainless so it won’t rust. No that bolt won’t cost the same as the “stainless” one at big box…….but it’s not going to be rusty in a month. You can literally spend an hour in here just looking around."

"In November I purchased a hex bolt and it was the wrong size. My total was $3 with round up donation. Due to the holidays I was unable to return or exchange this bolt within their 30 day policy so I went 60 days later. When I asked if I could exchange for the correct size Doug said no because an exchange is the same as a return. I had not gotten the pricing for my exchanged items, so I went back and spoke to an associate, who was shocked that Doug said that and didn’t do the exchange (which was $1.50 less than my original purchase). I can respect a return policy, and I can also understand that the difference is so small price-wise, but I was shocked that they would not do an exchange. I ended up donating the bolt I didn’t need back to the store because I have no use for it. Knowing that if I went to any other hardware store, they would’ve done the any question. My advice is if you want a better customer experience go to Lowe’s or Home Depot."
