"I'm redoing my fireplace surround with thin brick. The grout that was sold to me is actually a type of colored mortar that needs to be mixed with masonry sand. All I need is one small bag of that sand but nobody around here carries it. I thought I had finally found it when I called Marion Masonry and the very friendly woman told me that, yes, I could buy 1 bag. Unfortunately, what they mean by a bag is that they load a whole cubic yard of it into some giant bag, and that would be about 50 times the amount I need. So they didn't have what I needed but I wanted to write a 5-star review for them because that woman tried so hard to help me and was truly sympathetic when she learned that she couldn't. I don't expect that kind of treatment when I call any place that mostly deals with contractors. It just really made my day and I hope I have a reason someday to do business with them!"
