"This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! My wife and 2 teenage boys enjoyed it very much. Four hours was the perfect amount of time for us as it was a ridiculously hot and humid day with a heat index of 115 degrees. But honestly, as long as you kept moving, it was quite tolerable. The kids enjoyed dropping the anchor and going for a swim at various locations. We saw multiple dolphins, pelicans, seagulls and a bald eagle. We also saw many beautiful beach front homes. The staff at Venice Boat Rental were very kind and patient. Very accommodating enjoyable to do business with. It's not cheap but when you're on vacation and you have the chance to go boating in the Gulf of Mexico, you just do it. I would do it all over again."

"Customer service was amazing. Friendly and timely. The boat however had seen better days. The interior was trashed, and there was about atleast a foot of kelp hanging off the bottom. This caused wicked drag, and the little 115 hp engine was about to blow up because of how hard it had to work. There were 8 of us on the pontoon and the little engine that could wasn't doing to hot. Reported it to the dock master when we got back, hopefully they fixed the issue. Other than that, the company was very professional!"

"We had a great experience, from start of inquiring to the docking at the very end. I emailed with a number of questions and, each time, was answered promptly and to my satisfaction. Booking online was easy. We looked through the boats, picked one, found our date and booked it. Also signed the waiver. I went to the dock a few days early with some preliminary boat questions that Mike took the time to answer, even though he was between reservation people. We showed up a bit early...no problem. Mike walked me through the operation of the boat, answered more questions and off we went for a day-long rental. Boat was clean, comfortable and easy to operate. Mike was there at the end to help me dock (that was the tough part) and then helped us unload. Oh, and we were able to take our 11 pound Havanese dog with us. Like that. All in all, an enjoyable time."
