Reviews of Peace and Plenty Inn Bed & Breakfast
"Our first experience at a B & B and this was the best! Attentive service from booking, to check-in, to breakfast service. Accommodations were impeccable. A quiet location within the historic district. The hearty and delicious breakfast will sustain you until dinner!"
"This review is as fresh as possible, as we just got back. Location: Prime spot to stay in as it's just a short 3min walk (if that) to Flagler College and the Lightner Museum. Made it super easy to hop on and off the Old Town Trolley. Property: The place is nestled between 3 other B&B's, which I fondly referred to as B&B Row. During the Nights of Lights, each of these houses are lit up, making the space feel magical. Parking is tight tho, but available for guests who are staying. Plus it was nice to not have to stay at a place that required guests to park on the street. Check-in was seamless for us, we were arriving slightly beyond the window for in-person, but the owner/staff sent msgs via text notifying us our room key was in our room and the #. We did end up arriving still w/in the check-in time, but exhausted so it was nice to just go straight to our room. Our Room: We stayed in the Nirvana Spa (#8) in the Carriage House behind the main house. The courtyard is cute and inviting. My only recommendations for our room is 1. A fan - due to the humidity of a hot shower and it being an open space for the most part, the room can feel stuffy. Also, we couldn't figure out how to lower the thermostat in our room, so unfortunately we slept hot; We only stayed 2 nights so it wasn't something I was going to harp on. Plus, with the weather being so cool, we opened the window to allow that refreshing air in; 2. A different floor cleaner - the place was def clean as the cleaning product scent hung in the air, but whatever is used to clean the floor, makes it feel greasy and kind of gross to walk on; and 3. The bed - it could use a mattress pad to firm it up. Oh and if you don't like standing on river rock, I recommend shower shoes. My husband's feet cramped up due to standing on uneven surface, but I wore my crocs in the shower, so I had no issues. Food: We only had breakfast 1x during our stay and it wasn't bad. Staff: Friendly in-person but testy over the phone. Adult Only B&B is a plus too!"
"We really enjoyed our short stay here. The staff was incredible, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the location is in walking distance from downtown. The breakfasts were incredible and the complimentary beverages were a nice touch! Special thanks to Annette who made us feel welcome!!"
"We were a 5 minute walk from St George St. The staff was caring and friendly. We booked this for the location and what sold us was the previous reviews of the breakfast. I wish I had taken a picture beforehand. Please trust all those food pictures in the reviews. We had a stuffed French toast with a cup of fruit and amazing eggs that were seasoned to perfection. They offered complimentary water, wine, coffee, tea, cookies in the dining area. It is an adults only venue, which isn’t always easy to find in a vacation area. We enjoyed our adults only mini vacation and would love to return for another visit soon."
"Had a great time here. Me and my husband stayed two nights and was not disappointed. Room was clean, breakfast was amazing like top of the line . Our cable didn't work but we really didn't need it so that's not a deal breaker. The premises were beautiful and picture worthy. It's also in walking distance to everything. But also quiet and peaceful."
