"Captain Brian was great right from the start. We got there 15 minutes early or so and we're going within 5 minutes of getting there.10 mins later we were hooking them up. Tons of fresh shrimp and good equipment. Boat was incredibly smooth. I have been on several charter trips and caught more fish on this one than any other period. This was not an ideal day with the timing of Tide's etc but he had us on fish from the first cast to the last. As soon as the action slowed on a spot we took a 5 min breather to hydrate and relocate and each time didn't disappoint. Brian did a great job of educating me on what I needed to do differently than my normal bass fishing. And listening to him paid off. He was great at not overwhelming my youngest ADHD son with too much instruction rather made suggestions a bit at a time. He never fishes for more than 15 minutes even when catching fish regularly. Based on Tide's etc we targeted Ladyfish and trout. But my oldest son also landed a 35 lb Shovelhead (Bonnett) Shark and a rare Blue Fish. I caught 23 fish. My oldest caught around 15 and youngest caught 14 I think. Hard fish to land so we probably hooked up on 2-3 times that many. Capt Brian was a great instructor and lots of good exchange's of fish stories by both of us. Great fun and would do it again for sure."
