"We LOVED staying at the Sundown! It is located in a great area, close to shopping and entertainment, but yet feels very private. The location ON the Old River is amazing!! We spent every night sitting out on our balcony watching the sun set and dolphins swimming! Our kids enjoyed fishing off the pier each night too. The walk over to the ocean side is quick and nice. The pool was an excellent temperature and clean. We would definitely stay here again."

"We have rented on several occasions and are always pleased with both the owners and the staff. The bay is beautiful and beach access is quite easy. Love that there is only one commercial eatery and it is right across the street! Fellow occupants couldn't be nicer on every trip. Docks are available and the large pool is quite clean. Our units have been maintained, maybe somewhat dated, but nothing that matters. Kitchen utensils galore to cook up anything you catch or purchase. We love it and highly recommend for families and mature adults!"

"We have been going to Sundown twice a year for the past 4 years! My family absolutely loves it! The condo is beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything you need. We love the large pool and easy walk to the non-crowded beach over the bridge. Our favorite spot is on the balcony overlooking the bay at sunset. It's the perfect location and is close to restaurants and shopping. A quiet gem in the middle of paradise!"

"Great hidden gem with a great view and private beach. This is an older complex, but with updated units. The beach is beautiful and never too crowded to enjoy. With a great dock and water access on the bay, too, you get the best of both worlds. The views are great, and location is perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the beach. Only minutes away from all the hustle of orange beach and gulf shores, but without the crazy crowds and traffic to battle. Perfect for family vacationing and tons of amenities such as tennis, swimming pool, boat slips, dock, private beach, BBQ pits, etc..."

"My family and I absolutely love this place! Everyone there was so friendly. It's very quiet and relaxing which is the whole purpose of a vacation for us. We love being able to just sit on the balcony and watch the boats go by and all the different birds too. The pool area is very nice and well kept up. The beach is very nice and clean as well. There is a variety of great restaurants. Our young kids couldn't get enough of the pool and the beach! We will definitely be back next summer!"
