"These people have had me in a scheduling black hole for 5 weeks now. I keep having to reschedule my appointment because this company refuses to give a set time frame when you make your appointment but instead insist on texting you a time frame the night before your appointment at 8:30 PM. It doesn't give you a whole lot of time to plan accordingly if you have a job. Despite multiple calls to the business and explaining time and time again that it is extremely inconvenient for me to take a day off work with such short notice (which I also think that it is unfair that they hold this expectation when giving less than 24 hour notice) they don't seem to care and would rather waste both of our times, rather than give me the morning appointment that I have desperately been asking for. I have now been waiting 3 and a half months for a dish washer repair and it is beyond annoying. I waited a month for the original part only to find out they ordered the wrong one. Then about another month and a half for the new part. And now I have been calling them on a weekly basis for the last 5 weeks trying to get them to give me a morning appointment and stop giving me appointments for the middle of the day when I have told them it is in the middle of my work day. Unbelievable. All of this to cover a whirlpool dishwasher that has a warranty."
"I just had an awful experience with a Fields appliance service driver. We were exiting Boggy Creek at about 3:30 January 9th. He was tail gating us as we were exiting. Then he very aggressively cut us off. As we wondering why he was doing this, he got out of the car and started to come at us. We told him to get back into the car and not make this worse for himself. He still wanted to come at us. It was only when he realized he was outnumbered that he got back into his car and sped off. If the technician work is as poor as his driving, there is no way I would ever use this company for any work done. The license plate number is BZ3OGB. I wished we could gotten a picture of him coming at us, but it happened so fast."
"Fields Appliance Service has been taking care of my KitchenAid appliances across two counties for over 20 years. I have never had anything but completely positive interactions with them. From my dishwasher to my refrigerator to my cooktop to now my double oven they have been excellent. When I noticed their name is now Flamingo, I was a little concerned that that might fall by the wayside. Never fear, Flamingo is just as exceptional as Fields always was. I had a dreadful thing happen with my double oven: I decided to use the self clean and the bottom oven overheated and blew out the glass. The glass was replaced by Flamingo but I called a local company for the oven repair because I thought Flamingo‘s estimate was too high. But the local company was out here six or seven times and I spent quite a bit of money for them not to figure out the problem. I decided to call Flamingo back and I am so thankful I did. Their original estimate was quite a bit higher but thankfully Darrell kept troubleshooting until he found the real problem, and adjusted the bill down accordingly. I am so thankful for Darrell and his tenacity in finding out what the problem was, an obscure part tucked in behind things. After two years I actually have a working double oven just in time for the holidays! Additionally, their communication is exceptional, and they give an accurate timeframe of when the technician will arrive. Then they text 30 minutes in advance to let me know when they’re coming. All around excellent experience and I won’t use anybody else for my appliance repairs."
"Never showed up........twice. Can't do anything about it because they do warranty work for whirlpool. Anyone buying a whirlpool from Lowes or Home depot don't. Why? Because the warranty work is done by Flamingo appliance who bought out Fields appliance is totally unreliable. It's October 31st and our Whirlpool refrigerator still isn't repaired. They've been to our home 6 times. Each time they wait for parts. Usually 2 weeks before they get them. It's like being in a black hole. Any good reviews is probably a bot or someone in the company raving how good they are. Wish I could give a good review but I can't."
"So far after reading a lot of reviews of this company….we bought a whirlpool side by side refrigerator at Lowe’s..after a month is not cooling or making ice $450 waste on food .. Whoever is under whirlpool warranty manufacture…they send Fields Appliance Service …the technician arrive early on time Which is good .. He diagnosed is that the sensor need to be replaced they will Order it and come back next week to install it This diagnosis was made by eye … Not taking parts out ..or pulling the refrigerator to check on back ……Whirlpool say they work with the best !!! Let’s hope this is the problem and to be install next week .. On my side …Whirlpool never again I’m a fan of Samsung and LG I bought whirlpool because the house that I bought came with appliances like the stove , dishwasher and microwave from whirlpool and I bought it this way everything match Fields appliances service Hope you guys fix the problem I’m giving 4 starts cause the company send a email and call us to make sure someone would be at home from 7 am till 9 am technician arrive on point 7:45 am… Now wait for the part So far ….on point and sharp on time Let’s see next week for the sensor…"
