At Home Vacation Rentals

"It is now my turn..... Renters & Home Owners beware. STAY A AWAY. I have emailed (20 times) & called (15+ times) "At Home Vacation Rentals" with not one response. Was giving the same story as you will read with many other of these reviews "send an email and management will respond" NOT.. Just to share here was the email sent. Gisele - As requested I am sending you an email with our disappointment in the rental property this past weekend. As I had explained to you that our plan was to have a barbecue at the home on Sunday. After checking in at noon on Friday, I had called you and informed that the pool was not serviced. The hot tub was green and the pool had died dragonflies and dead baby frogs in it. You had said that it would be serviced that day and it was not. On Saturday, it was a beautiful day and we all went to Epcot, assuming the pool would be serviced that day. When we returned at 10pm and the pool still hadn't been touched. This was very upsetting and again I left a message. As you know from my very many voice mail messages on Sunday no one showed up. It really had a huge impact on our day. Now to add more fuel to my anger over the day, the gas tank on the grill died when we were ready to cook burgers and dogs for our barbecue........ Cannot have a barbecue without a grill??? Just a total mess.... You would think it couldn't have gotten any worse...... but then the house alarm system starts going off. With no way for us to turn it off and the police showing up. Alarm went off again Monday morning when leaving. One last item was the worms or whatever they are. In one of the bedrooms they were actually in the light in the ceiling. Just a total disappointment.... I would like to have someone call me at ddd-ddd-$$$$ to discuss a partial refund of the price paid for the house. I have a few appointments in the morning but will be available after noon. Never heard from them EVER..... AGAIN, ALL STAY AWAY....."

"Why is there no zero star option???? Literally everything abt this rental firm deserves a zero star. House was filthy, hairs, toe nails, worms and busted water balloons. The air conditioning wasnt working, water was leaking from second flight down into the kitchen. We paid for pool heater but it didnt work througj out our 8 day stay despite numerous calls. No customer service what so ever, not during working hours, and def not after hrs. And to top it all off, instead of owning up to their faults, they added fraudulent charges after checkout. Stay the hell away from their properties."

"At Home Vacation Rentals was the property management company for my vacation home for approximately one year. I ended my contract with them due to poor performance and guest complaints. Almost every guest complained about the housekeeping and the maintenance of my home. Guests also complained that they could never get a hold of anyone and were contacting me constantly. When I took a trip to my home I was able to see for myself how poorly my house was being maintained. Even though I was paying them for monthly pest control service, I found roaches in the refrigerator and a nest of roaches behind the refrigerator. I had a guest tell me that the wifi wasn't working. This company lied and they checked the connections. When I arrived at my house I checked the wifi connection and it was unplugged. I could share numerous other stories but the bottom line is that this company is pathetic and don't waste your money by allowing them to management your vacation home."

"Absolutely worst vacation rental experience I’ve had. Dead inspects through the entire house. Pool or splash pad were not working. Air condition stopped working on the second day of our visit. Property manager, Giselle was made aware of inspects from the time we got in. As we discovered other issues and made her aware she made no attempt to fix any of it. After I told her about the a/c not working, I got no response. I had to call her and she told me that they would have someone out during that day and that if I was unhappy to send an email to corporate. No one ever showed up and we were without a/c that night. Checked out the next morning and after filing a dispute with my credit card company they proceeded to lie and say the house was clean and the ac didn’t work in just a movie room. And the corporate office never got back to my emails. Poor service all around."

"I had booked a condo at Storey Lake last September through VRBO for my brother in laws wedding. Due to the hurricane that came through and hit Orlando we had to cancel our trip. The company was extremely slow to respond during that time as we were trying to figure out what we could do. I got bounced around several times before being told I couldn't get a refund (for a natural disaster???) They told me (Caesar) I could get a credit to use towards a future trip and to reach out when I had the dates I wanted. I have the confirmations and I have this all in writing through emails. I have reached out four times in the last month and gotten zero response from anyone. Incredibly poor customer service. Wish I realized before booking it was a management company and I would have listened to all the reviews on here."
