"Wonderful garden to walk through even in winter. There is a lot to see and enjoy here. The volunteers have been busy, but are happy to be on hand with information. The hours are limited, so I would recommend calling ahead of time to be sure they are open. We went on a Wednesday. Special permission was given to allow Cooper inside as dogs are not always allowed. He is a well behaved chap and we, of course always clean up after him."
"This beautiful historical garden dates back to the 1800's. There are numerous, beautiful plants, flowers and shrubs. The walking trails are lined with many species of plants. The bamboo patch is huge with some 25-40 ft tall. The garden is open to the public twice per year. You should make it a priority to go."
"My new favorite place to take a nice stroll when the weather is nice! The attendant was so sweet and explained everything to us so nicely, she even invited us to their art show. This place is so calming and the plants are so beautiful...I almost can't believe it's free!"
"A fantastic gem of a garden rich in history in the heart of Gotha Florida. Afterward you should head to the Yellow Dog Cafe. Small town. A whole lot to offer! And don’t miss the plant sale! Master Gardeners on site all very friendly and you can tell the love and passion they put into their work. Amazing."
"This garden is a complete hidden gem! Not crowded, educational signage everywhere, and beautiful shaded walkways and wildlife abound. Wonderful way to spend an hour!"
