"I contemplated writing a review about the complex but I wanted to give awareness to those who are deciding or thinking of considering SeaLofts as a place to live. To start with a positive: The unit itself was beautiful. I loved the design as well as the cabinetry throughout the unit. The balcony wasn’t too small and the light fixtures were nice. However, there are many downsides to this place. First, for the amount that you are paying for these advertised luxury apartments, there should be no issues, especially when it comes to safety and cleanliness. When I first moved in back in July of 2023, I was told there was a bad storm that broke the gates. The gates stayed open for a while until they were fixed months later. Once the gates were fixed, obviously residents had to drive up to the scanner to scan the tag we were given for the car and it would open the gate. This is just my personal opinion, but it does not make any sense to me at all to have the residential scanner for people for live there and the call box for guests on the same side of the neighborhood entry. Every single time I would go into the neighborhood through the residential scanner, guests would drive up to the gate and drive right through. There would be small lines of cars waiting and once a resident opened the gate, they would all go in. In my opinion, that is a safety concern. Anyone is able to go in. It’s just as if the gates were broken. My next set of warning/ concerns for those that are considering SeaLofts as your place of living is the failed security they have for packages/pool areas/amenities. We were all given key fobs to scan to get into these locked areas but they never worked and they were zipped tied open. There were numerous times were my packages were missing and to add to that situation; when I moved in, we were told in order to receive our packages that did not fit into a mail box we would need to pay a 20$ fee for the parcel room. That room closed due to the on going issues of not being able to receive your packages because the door would not open with out a code. I never received a reimbursement for that. In regards to the poor security of the amenities, the are never secured. Anyone, resident or non-resident can access them. There have been numerous reports of people who don’t live in the community who access and use the amenities that residents are paying a lot of money for. If you decide to read the remaining reviews about the community, you will be able to read some other experiences people have encountered regarding that. It is a major safety concern. In terms of cleanliness, the hallways and stairwells were always dirty. There was a power washing service that would come more frequently towards the end of my stay but even after those power washed, there would be trash or spilled liquids in the hallway that would stay there until the next power wash. It is not just a responsibility of the maintenance/ runners of the community but the simple common sense of an individual to clean up a simple mess you have made. If you drop a sauce or a drink, please just go clean it. If you read further into the reviews, you can read that there were incidents of break-ins and other crimes. This definitely was an issue during my stay. I received numerous emails from management warning us about the break-ins around the community. People were kicking in doors and breaking into the garages.I found out from a neighbor, that there was an incident of a person’s motorcycle getting stolen in the middle of the night . Again, these were just a few of my experiences and opinions I have encountered while living here. There is many more but i certainly don’t have the space to write them all. These reasons were a big factor to why I terminated my lease 5 months early. And getting your security deposit is a whole other issue:). If safety and truly getting what you pay for is what you are looking for in a community, please consider looking somewhere else."
"Not worth it. The place seems nice and has beautiful amenities but it's a false reality. When it comes to living in an apartment community, the most valuable thing is always the service and management followed by security. This is by far the worst management I have ever come across. By FAR. It's insane to me that the current management is still on staff with how bad these reviews are on them. It's purely profit turning. They will make their money regardless due to the number of people in Florida now. But people will not stay, I can guarantee this. The application process was a nightmare, literally no urgency whatsoever. The staff is very rude and never return any communication on time. Power trip what it is. The amount of laziness here is off the charts. As for the security? Terrifying. Anyone is driving through those gates. Anyone. The gym and basketball court is always filled with people that don't live there. Same with the pool. Instead of fixing the fobs at the door they chose to zip tie the handles so they stay open.... How great. All that money made yet too lazy to properly fix any of the amenities. Putting your residents at risk in order to save money. In conclusion, stay away. If you're looking to spend this kind of money on an apartment, there are plenty of other places to look with better service that will actually make you feel welcomed. This place is the complete opposite."
"Amazing office team, prompt maintenance response and a beautiful community!! I have officially been living here in Sealofts for about 3 months now. Moving to FL from the suburbs of NJ, I didn’t know what to expect and was nervous considering I didn’t know Boynton or the area well. I have a large dog, and the location was just too amazing to pass up (beautiful walking trails around the complex, dog park next door). I was a bit concerned prior to move in that I would have issues because of some negative reviews, but I have had nothing but the best experience here! The staff (Ashley especially) are always so friendly and helpful. I truly feel like the community here is wonderful. Any time I have had an issue with anything in the apartment maintenance responds within 24 hours or less and gets the job done right away! Neighbors for the majority are young professionals like myself, and I have had nothing but positive interactions. This is the best place to be in Boynton, hands down! Thank you for all of your hard work to bring the best experience for all of the residents!"
"Management has no interest in resolving issues...their only priority is turning a profit. They sit back and watch theft, vandalism and trespassing occur on a regular basis. Amenities do not ever work. And your neighbors are a nightmare. Physical threats, harassment and homophobic confrontations? Oh well! You'll never reach anyone to file a complaint. And when you want to leave...they bang you over the head. It's paradise!"
