"Is the Fire Alarms STILL an issue? Please advise."

"I have lived in the apartment complex next door for about a year. The fire alarms at Armature Place Apartments go off several times a week for hours at a time. I can't imagine how terrible it is for their residents, let alone the neighborhood. It is ridiculous."

"I live next door to this apartment complex. Tonight is the second time that the fire alarms in one of their buildings sounded. The first was last weekend, the alarm sounded at 11:00pm and wasn’t disarmed until 9:00am the following morning. I personally contacted the fire department who told me they sent a truck to the property to look for smoke and fire and didn’t find anything, thankfully, however they were not allowed to reset the alarm, only a representative from the complex could. I contacted the leasing office and reached the after hours voicemail which provided an “After Hours Emergency Line” telephone number. I dialed the number and left a message. A few hours later another message, a few more hours, you guessed it, another message. Again, the alarm sounded throughout the night until 11am. Fast forward to Tonight, 6/9/22 and the alarm sounds again at 8:15pm. Around 9 I contacted the Fire Marshall’s office and spoke with the investigator on duty. I was told that the Fire Marshall was aware of last weeks incident and has been unsuccessful in reaching the complex. I then called the “Emergency Line”, you know the one people call when there is an emergency, and they answered and hung up on me a total of five times. I finally sent the following text message: “TURN OFF THE DAMN FIRE ALARMS” Last week it sounded from 11pm to 9am. Tonight it started at 8:15! I've already contacted the Fire Marshal about this issue and will assist them in imposing fines on your company for blatantly disregarding the safety of your residents and not resetting the system to ready status.“ About twenty five minutes later the squelching of the alarm stopped. FINALLY!"

"I enjoyed my tour! The apartments are spacious with modern upgrades. I like that it is a small complex, very quite area, and close to everything. Every home has a screened in patio and no carpet! I was provided with A1 customer service from both ladies working in the office. Keep up the great work!"
