Oakhurst Square Apartments

"To many noisy people hanging around doing nothing but wasting time and causing trouble. Also,the place look under kept. Not a good place to move at all."

"These apartments are HORRIBLE! The people in the rent office are very unprofessional. My air has been broken for a month and no one in the office is trying to get anything fixed. There are shootings 3-4 times a week."

"Mid February, I went looking for an apartment to move in March or April. I was told that they had an apartment coming available In April. This was perfect, so i thought! I was told to call each week to see when the apartment would be ready. This went on for weeks, I called and called with the same response the apartment was still not ready, finally they advised me to bring a deposit of $300.00 on March 26, 2018 and that they only needed another week or so to finish the apartment, because there were several vendors coming to restore the entire apartment. The lady in office apologized multiple times stating it was supposed to be ready but the man who lived there resided at that address for 20 years and became ill, he was disabled and had to move to a down stairs apartment, and the office didn’t realize the apartment was In such bad shape. It had been treated for a roach infestation twice and needed at least one more treatment. She allowed us to view the apartment, it was in a horrible condition with sightings of a few roaches, but she promised that it could would be a new apartment when they were done and it would definitely be ready in a few weeks, but no later than May 1st, 2018. I expressed to her that I absolutely with out a doubt had to be out of my current place by May 1st. With the end of April quickly approaching, I could no longer wait, I realized that this lady was stringing me along and I had to maKe a decision, she was not returning my calls and There was no communication from anyone at the complex. I went apartment hunting, I was able to Locate an apartment!!! Thank you Jesus! So I thought I could just simply let the apartment complex know and get my deposit back right? I called and called with no response. I left two messages, to please mail my deposit to the address on file, because I was not moving in. Did I mention, they hardly ever answer the phone and the office is only open to the public 4 hours during he day. She had the nerves to call me on May 4, 2018 and leave me a voicemail saying, the apartment was ready and I could move in on the upcoming Monday. I called about 3 more times before I was able to reach her, this lady had the nerve to tell me that she needed to contact thier cooperate office because they held the apartment for me. I almost passed out in disbelief, I was waiting for Ashton Kutcher to jump out and say you’ve just been punked. So they lady said that she would call me back and wasn’t going back and forth with me about it. Now today is May 15,2018 and she still has not called me back. I am trying to get the information to thier cooperate office. Thank God we have all Of the photos from the apartment, the voicemails and phone records. This place Is a rip off and God does not like ugly! If I could rate it a 0 I would. After seeing comments about the mid day shoot outs while the children are playing at the play ground, I know the lord works in mysterious ways."

"I used to be a tenant here and while I was living there , I still had the cabinets of the people who lived there prior to me for 15+ years. They were ate out by termites because they were wooden and every work order I put in seem to had gotten ignored. On top of low maintenance, security lacks as well. Security guards smoke marijuana with local teens who are visitors and not tenants or children of tenants. Just hanging out. Kids roam around the place at 12 and 1 a.m and when I say kids I mean between the ages of 2 and 13. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. It isn't safe or sanitary."

"They are so unprofessional! They have been giving me the complete run around for two months changing my move in date, not informing me. I find out every time a day before its time for me to move only because I call them to make sure I'm moving in. The only reason I consisdered to move in here because it was very last minute but they really need better reliable and PROFESSIONAL management because this is completely absurd"
