"I lived there for 5yrs and when I tell you I don't recommend nobody to live there the maintenance is horrible and they loses your money and you have to pay again my sink was stopped up for months until the day I moved out and any time the neighbor upstairs sink or dishwasher backed up it poured down into my apartment moving was the best choice I ever made I love my new apartment"
"DO NOT MOVE HERE! You will regret it. I’m not a disgruntled anybody. I don’t even live here but my mother does. They get new management every couple of months, their office is closed at all times of the day. My mother has had her ceiling leak on multiple occasions just from her upstairs neighbor toilet being clogged. Kitchen sink has backed up due to the neighbors putting food that was not disposable down drain. My mother has has multiple times where she’s needed assistance with maintenance only for the requests to be not handled for extended periods of time. What led me to write this review was mainly because my mother received a notice on her door that says “this is our second time trying to contact you, you will be fined etc if you do not come by the office to complete paperwork” only to get to the office at 1 and they were closed. I showed up at 2:30 and they were still closed. They said they were authorized to close randomly between 12 and 3 but they’ve never disclosed this to any tenants. They take advantage of their tenants because most of them are Hispanic or older. They said they need more paperwork because it may have been “misplaced”. HOW DO YOU MISPLACE INFORMATION WITH MY PERSONAL DATA ON IT?!?! AND PLEASE save yourself some heartache headaches and stress and DO NOT MOVE HERE."
"THESE PEOPLE MUST THINK THAT EVERYBODY LIVING HERE ARE MILLIONAIRES BECAUSE WE ALL PAY A HIGH UTILITY BILL EQUALIVANT TO A HOME OWNER!!! WE MIGHT AS WELL OWN THE APARTMENTS!!! MY ADVICE, UNLESS YOU PREFER TO PAY A HIGH UTILITY BILL, DON'T MOVE HERE!!!!"
"I don’t recommend this place to anyone, bad maintenance and bad management. Still haven’t gotten my deposit back after 2 months. Had a leak for 4-6 months because they never fixed it!"
"FINAL UPDATE: The only thing Southside Commons cares about is how the place looks to potential new residents. The outside of the apartments and the model apartment they show you are nice but once you sign a lease you'll find how little they care about residents UPDATE: I have posted new pictures of notices the new management puts on your door. This place is way worse now with the new owners than it was when I wrote my original review About a year ago they put a flyer on every door begging you to give them a five star review. No real five star place would have to do that."
