Enclave on Woodbridge Apartment Homes

"I kept waiting to make a review just in case anything came up because I have been in situations where as soon as I leave a good review, the community's efforts go down the drain. However, I must say, so far so good. We are on year two and have no complaints. Here is my honest review from my experience: We have a 2bd 2ba unit. When we moved in it was pretty clean. Could have been better but I never rely on anybody's cleaning anyway; so it wasn't a big deal to me. These are older apartments so the appliances and finishes are a bit dated, but everything was functioning well. The unit came equipped with a washer and dryer which was a nice surprise. When we first moved in we had a few concerns but they were handled in a timely manner and it wasn't anything major. Since then, any other time I've made a maintenance request it is handled in a timely manner. Our maintenance crew is always active, friendly, and they do a great job keeping the grounds and addressing concerns as much as they can. From my understanding there are only two people and that is impressive. The office management has changed since we moved in and I think Arlecia & Jennifer are doing a great job. I have noticed a lot of improvements since they've been here. They have been great with communication and that's important to me. I love that my unit is quiet for the most part. Sometimes I hear my neighbors but it's nothing crazy, and that's to be expected when sharing spaces with people. I also love that the boys and girls club is right across the street, my daughter finally had something to do this summer. We are also zoned for her to go to school on the island, which I love as well. The kids here are all seem to be well behaved and friendly for the most part. We are tucked away but also close to everything. Walmart is only 5 minutes away. Target, Publix, Ross, etc...all within a 10min radius. It's a great location. Rent did increase a lot more than I'm used to when renewing a lease, but I'm thinking maybe that's just due to the times that we are in. It is still competitively priced but could use a little updating to justify the increase. The pool is nice during the summer. I never have parking issues. I'm trying to cover all aspects for somebody who may be having a hard time making a decision. I didn't read the reviews before I moved in and I'm glad I didn't because if I did then I probably wouldn't have chosen this place. People have different experiences I guess. I can't complain. The only thing I absolutely hate is the carpet, lol. It's not nasty or anything just ugly/dated. I wish I can rip it out!!! Other than that, everything else is doable. It's not a luxury apartment but it's quiet and clean. Like I said, I just renewed my lease and I never had any major issues, no bugs, etc...will update if anything happens. I have seen the efforts the management has made regarding the trash concerns we have sometimes. I'm not sure if it's our residents or people coming in from other places to dump garbage, but sometimes the dumpster area can be a bit of an eye sore. The maintenance does a good job keeping up with it as much as they can, but I can imagine how aggravating it is to consistently deal with inconsiderate/irresponsible adults who do this. I wish they had more strict regulations in place with the trash to cut the people from abusing that area. Okay, I think that's about it for now. God bless."

"It was never done. 5 times putting an order in to fix pantry doors and nothing has been done. I even mention the doors are ok it’s just the track that needs to be replace. Rent is going up 100 a month. Things should be fixed"

"I have lived here for 3 years and have waited until now to write this. I love living here. No bug problems EVER, thank God, maintenance requests get tended to quickly, especially if you are kind and polite to staff. Many residents are very rude so I wouldn’t want to help them with maintenance either honestly. I’ve never had a problem getting issues handled. I’ve had 3 in my time here. First issue, after about 7 months on the property, my freezer and fridge went out. Maintenance came in the next morning and had it fixed within an hour. Second issue, AC froze up, this was about a year ago maybe? Maybe a little less than. Maintenance came by within an hour of the request. Fixed in 30 minutes. And then last night, I realized my water was not really getting hot or staying hot so I put in a request at 2am (i was taking a bath and was quite unhappy about running out of hot water in a half filled tub lol) they came by around 1pm today and solved the issue quickly now I have hotter water than ever and more than before too!! The front office is very kind and helpful. They also really work hard to accommodate residents and find solutions when there are any issues. They seem like they actually care about residents. Only real downside I can think of, is rent increases but that is too be expected as the cost of everything rises so what can I do? It is still cheaper to be here than elsewhere in the county and even nicer than some of those more expensive places. There have been ups and downs living here, just like any apartment, but if I had to choose, it would still be Enclave over pretty much anywhere else. Thank you to the team and the community. I’m happy to call this home and I’m sure I’ll be sticking around a while longer! :)"

"10/10/2023: If you don’t have to, I would not recommend moving here. Roach infested units and when you ask about it, no one has complained. I asked people in the building and they said yes they said something and called outsiders for help. I asked to be on the spray list every week to get rid of roaches and it was a problem. When you submit a request for things to get fixed it takes months to get it done and I just moved here and the area in late July 2023….still not completed. I have lots of pictures to prove and back up why I say stay away, although I can say where my apartment is it’s quiet, a little neighbor noise but that’s it. A new dishwasher don’t work, no screens in the windows to air out the house. They said they cleaned the unit and it was not. They painted over dirt and I thought it was mold. The pool was open for about two weeks and never cleaned again, gym not available when you need it. I can go on but I’m not. Hopefully, I’ll be able to purchase a home before my lease is up. Paying fair market value rent and getting this is not cool at all. I can pay a mortgage payment for this and will. If you want more pictures let me know.The other reviews of issues are correct from what has happened to me. I’m not expecting it to be perfect however you should not have all of my issues when you just move in. I’ve worked for a Federal assisted mixed community and if they and or others saw this or complaints were escalated they’ll be investigated. 10/16/2023: After Enclave posted their comment; I have a long paper trail of emails and phone calls and a lot more photos of me sending things to the office to address the concerns and nothing. I can post them here if you like. Please don’t make it seem as if I have not tried to address my concerns/issues. You have not tried to fix my concerns/issues. Respectfully‼️ 11/17/1023: UPDATE; Resubmitted the list of things that needed to be completed earlier this month and most of them were completed the next day. Still seeing roaches and YES, my home is clean‼️"

"Nice quite community. Grounds are always maintained. if any problems occur inside apartment Maintenance makes repairs in timely manner. They always seem to be do fun things for children (back to school, ice cream party, Halloween) I enjoy being close to so many things like grocery store, gas station, clothing stores."
