"Moved out after 3 years and it was the best decision made for my family. The first year was all good. After that down hill. Problems with mantiannce request being closed and not fixed, squatters, the stray cats, damn gate at one point would not let my visitors in, different folks in office all the time, communication issues with management, the bugs were awful, charged for air filter which office never provided, amongst others issues and valet trash. I moved out in November of 23' and gave proper notice and it's almost February 24' and I have not gotten my deposit back. Nor written statements of what was taken out of deposit after i moved. Would not recommend"

"As of recently, my unit has no working HVAC. They don't plan on fixing it nor do they care. They never work on things here. I've been without A/C and heat since October 2023. I'm tired and done with this place. I will be moving in a few months. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST place anyone could ever live or move into. Roach infested and disgusting! Save your money and apply elsewhere. Red Bay isn't it! They love to get folks in, but after you move in they ignore you and your needs. Management has switched numerous times in the short amount of time I've been here. I don't even know the new/current manager's name. I'm just fed up and ready to leave these raggedy apartments! Don't move here! You will regret it"

"I been calling since Tuesday about my sinks being stopped up due to the plumbing issues the apartment complex has been having. I told the manager I was brushing my teeth in my kitchen smh. I was told a plumber would come out and see what was wrong. Here it is sunday and my sinks have been running over with water my whole place is stank due to the water that is coming up in the sink and yet i’m still paying rent to a complex that don’t care about the tenants. If you reading this please help Redbay Apartments get the help they need to get these apartments back on track. The apartment complex look a mess and the tenants have to wait weeks for maintenance request this is sad. If you the owner in reading this please stop just collecting money and come see how your properties are being ran."

"I would give this place a negative 1000 if I could. They ought to be a shamed of themselves for FALSE ADVERTISEMENT‼️‼️‼️ The first part of the online application process was seamless. After I uploaded my supporting documents I continued to receive an error code and could not proceed with the application. For 3 whole weeks, no one answered my calls and when they did, I was told to send an email to Tina showing the error message in which she did nothing about except say that she doesn't understand why. Just log in and complete the application. I ended up sending my 93 year old grandfather to the leasing office to pay the $90 application fee. I still could not access the site due to error message until after receiving an email that my application was accepted. I received a phone call from Carmalitta stating that I'd have to overnight $250 deposit to hold my apartment, which I did. She or No one else told me that this deposit is non refundable and I received a phone call from Carmalitta personally. Upon arrival into Jacksonville, my first stop was the leasing office. I asked Carmalitta if I could view the apartment and I was told, either Friday or Saturday there will be an available apartment to view. She told me she'd call me when I could view. I never received a phone call. I went back the following week to see if I could view an apartment and was told there arent any to view and that my apartment is being worked on. There were about 12 available apartments listed. Mind you, I applied for unit 221 but it was rented to someone else. They assigned me unit 604 but upon its outter appearance I asked for a different unit in which I was assigned unit 1005. My first move in date was Feb. 4th but was pushed to Feb 11th when I requested a new unit. I was told the apartment was being RENOVATED so I couldn't see it. PLEASE SEE PHOTOS ATTACHED ‼️‼️‼️ On Feb 11th I took a day off from work to move into my NEWLY RENOVATED apartment. What a nightmare‼️‼️‼️ The pics speak for themselves. I turned down the unit and requested a refund of my $250 deposit from Tina who said she would call me on monday Feb 14th. I have not received a phone call as yet and I have called several times. On Feb 11th Tina stated that I am not entitled to a refund because it states it on the website that I clearly could not access. Tina also stated that I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT THE PHOTOS WERE EDITED. No one's picking up the line today all of a sudden. I am now contacting NEWS4JAX because this is ridiculous and they need to be exposed for the lies‼️‼️‼️Renovated where⁉️⁉️⁉️ There are painted over holes in the walls Cabinets arent lined up. Clearly torn down closet doors. Look at the master bedroom shower floor. WHAT IS THIS⁉️⁉️⁉️ For those who need a place to stay I do not knock you but I could not and do not even feel safe inside. Please visit their website and compare the photos. They advertised a complete LIE!!! The front door latch is not even there. Its broken. DO NOT MOVE HERE‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ Everything about this place is a lie‼️‼️‼️I had AT&T deliver a modem so that I could connect to wifi and they didnt even contact me to inform me of the delivery nore are they answering the phones. AT&T is requesting that I return the package that I do not have. This mess is ridiculous ‼️‼️‼️ Now you compare the website pics to the actual pics and tell me what you think⁉️⁉️⁉️"
