"This place is AWFUL. They delete all the bad reviews and people are starting to notice. There are tons of vacant apartments for a reason!!! FAULTY FIRE ALARMS!!!!! The fire alarms go off at all hours multiple times a week! Don’t believe the lies they’re saying that they’re working with a new company. The alarms have gone off since the new company started. It’s given me nightmares it’s gotten so bad. Someone needs to sue this place and Bell Partners. I pay $2300 a month for rent (they double charge you on utilities, charge you for a package system called FETCH that I haven’t used once since moving in) and I can’t even live at my own apartment. There’s giant spiders EVERYWHERE too. Don’t get me started on the garage. They don’t clean it so the whole garage is infested with spiders. So now they have moved inside to the apartments. There’s water damage in the hallways, in the apartments, etc. they don’t care. They simply give you a generic response and move on. If you don’t want to sleep, love loud fire alarms going off at all times, and bugs, this is the place for you!!! The leasing office and everyone who works for this place should be ashamed of themselves. I’ve lived at several different complexes throughout my life and not once has this happened anywhere. (And PS- the new manager will tell you that this happens at other properties too! Don’t believe her, it’s another lie from this scam of a company)."
"I've lived here for 2.5 years, and I have so much regret about re-signing my lease. Satori used to be wonderful for the first few months. But then the fire alarms started. They malfunction several times a week, specifically in the middle of the night. These alarms have given me a severe anxiety disorder to the point I can't sleep anymore. The alarms will go off multiple times a night and during the day throughout the week. My job and work performance has been effected by this. On Saturday morning, the alarm went off 17 times, and this is after the manager assured me 4 days prior that they had fixed the problem and it wouldn't happen again. The people in the office don't care and give you a generic responses about how it's always fixed (spoiler alert: they've been telling me that for a year and a half now. It's not fixed). And don't let the office fool you, JFRD has confirmed that 95% of the time they are out there, it's because of a malfunction of the alarm. Not because someone pulled it. Besides the fire alarms, there's a silverfish and spider infestation. The roof has leaks in it (I've had 3 leaks in my apartment that they patched up but did not even paint over, I'm sure I'll get charged upon move out for that). You can see the leaks in the hallways too. Avoid this place at all costs. It looks nice on the outside but it's an absolute nightmare. This place won't take the time or money to actually fix their problems. Hopefully they'll learn when no one wants to live there. 2/13 update: Satori says they're working with a new company to ensure the alarm system is fixed. The new alarm company was there the afternoon of 2/12. The alarm went off again on 2/12 at 5:00 pm. They lied and said someone pulled it. Not the case...they just had another malfunction."
"My husband and I have been living here since April and for the most part have loved living here but there have been many false fire alarms that have gone off and a few have been late at night/early morning and it is very obnoxious. We have a 15-month old and it blares really loudly in his bedroom and is very upsetting. The office says they’ve fixed the issue multiple times but at this point it feels like this is never going to get resolved. I’ve lived in a lot of apartments and have never experienced this many false alarms. This is not normal and even is very dangerous since I’m sure some residents won’t evacuate during a real emergency. We don’t want to have to move again but this issue is really making us consider leaving. Feb 12 - Alarms went off again at 5 pm"
"Valerie at Satori was amazing! She made our move in not only smooth but she went above and beyond to ensure we got the keys same day of application based on our needs. Excellent customer service overall. Took care of key items in apartment within 24 hrs. Awesome team Satori! Way to go!"
"I rave about the Satori to everyone I talk to (they really should hire me with the amount of publicity I've given them). I recently had to move away from Jacksonville and I wish I could take the Satori with me. It is an absolute paradise. To start, when I was scrambling for a place to live on a Saturday, they were able to give me a tour, draw up a lease, and move me into the apartment by Monday. My apartment and the building itself were clean and beautiful, it is very quiet, and the location (right by the Town Center, without dealing with Town Center traffic) can't be beat. I felt incredibly safe with all the safety measures (gated garage, key fob access throughout the building, double dead bolt in the apartment). The screened in balcony and access directly from the garage to the building are extra pluses that I haven't seen in many other buildings. Maintenance is always quick to answer and is very friendly. I absolutely loved the pool, it was truly a luxury experience. To be a fair reviewer, I'll mention the cons as well (though these were in no way a deal breaker for me). The staff in the leasing office were constantly in and out and the walls are extremely thin. One tip, if you move to a unit facing the courtyard, get black out curtains. They keep the lights on all night long. My biggest and only true problem was that people speed through the garage. The Satori attempted to solve that problem by installing speed bumps, but only did so on the first floor. I would suggest they install them on every floor, concentrating on the corners, which people tend to fly around."
