"I lived here in 2019. I can’t speak to the management or security, but I do have a fairly unbiased perspective. The apartments themselves are nice and maintenance was always prompt. The walls were decently thick so the parties weren’t a big issue. The interior walls though are paper thin. You’ll hear everything your roommate is doing. The reason I’m giving it 3 stars is because the management at the time was extremely shady and tried to charge me rent after a new tenant who signed the lease failed to move in on the move in date. I had multiple conversations with the property manager to resolve the issue. Thankfully the matter was resolved, but it was an unnecessary stress that didn’t sit well with me, even 5 years later as I write this review."
"previously let me leave a review but i meant to add this to the review. What i dislike the most about the venue the absolute most is how the venue TOWS but there’s 0 parking for visitor after 9pm thursday - sunday . there’s only 2 rows in the front of the building and then there’s 1 row for the back. due to towing there was a lack of visitor parking which is very frustrating. Very hard to have people over without worrying about being towed. Plus plenty of residents park in the visitors that already pay for parking in the back of building 2 which makes it much worse for those who are just visiting thursday - sunday where it’s packed 24/7 & can’t park anywhere besides outside of visitor and having to move their vehicles around 1am - 3am (when the tow truck comes)"
"I lived at the Venue this past school year and I would not recommend it to anyone. We were informed about an hour before our scheduled move-in time that our apartment was not ready for us to move in, and that we would have to wait until that afternoon for it to be cleaned ready. I have attached photos of what our apartment looked like when we arrived. We received very very little compensation for this, which I thought to be extremely unprofessional given what we walked into that day. The rooms reeked of cigarettes and the entire place was covered with dirt and grime. Nothing had been cleaned and there was trash, cleaning supplies and food everywhere. Furthermore, no one even arrived to clean our apartment until the afternoon and therefore it was not done and "clean" until late that day. I use the term "clean" loosely, seeing as I had to clean my bathroom myself and the carpets were not steam cleaned that day either as they were supposed to be. The furniture was still the old stuff from the year before and it was all scratched and smelly. The nightstand in my room was still in its box and we were missing desks and desk chairs, a living room chair, and a new couch, TV, and coffee table. I did not receive a desk or chair at all for weeks after move in and ended up going and getting myself an old set from the parking lot so I would have somewhere to do my school work. We did not receive our furniture until well into our first semester and we finally received a chair this SUMMER, about two weeks before move out. I do understand that unexpected things happen that cannot be planned for, however, the way the whole move in fiasco was handled was extremely unprofessional and it made move in day - a day that is supposed to exciting and fun - absolutely miserable. Between this, as well as the smelly hallways and stairwells, the gate being broken most of the time, and the ridiculous move-out charges we were given, I would not recommend this place to anyone."
"I lived at this complex for two years and had numerous problems. As said in other reviews, the "gated community" is a joke, the gate is always broken and there are always creeps wandering the property. I will say we experienced multiple times, someone trying to enter our apartment, one time which we even had to call the police. The property manager did handle this with grace and got us a Ring camera for the front door. The hallways were always littered with trash and reeked of smells of urine or other fluids. The pool area is not secure at all as anyone can access it, pretty much every weekend families from the surrounding area would drive to the complex to bring their screaming children to play in the pool. The package lockers are located in an area of the clubhouse which closes, meaning packages were not accessible at any time the office was closed. This was very inconvenient considering the office closes between 5 and 6 PM and frequently closed early for who knows what reason. The parking situation during the school year is a disaster, if you pay for a regular parking pass (not reserved) you are not guaranteed a spot even relatively close to your building. I frequently found myself parking all the way in the back behind building 2, in the overflow parking area and having to walk in the dark to my building. When I moved in the first year my roommates and I agreed to pay an increased rate for the "upgraded" furniture package. We did not end up receiving some of this furniture until the second year, yet paid for it all year. Promises were not kept and deadlines were never met. To top it all off, myself and one other roommate received some totally bogus move-out charges. When questioned about these charges, the reason behind them changed numerous times and it became very apparent they were invalid and the company was out to scam students. They did end up getting dropped. I will say management and office staff were always very nice. For the price, I would look into a complex with more integrity that will deliver upon their promises."
"I really honestly never had a problem here. Maintenance was pretty good and you could tell they cared about the residents with the constant cleaning they would do in the hallways. Even when I had an incident where my door got kicked in, they fixed the doorway right away free of charge. I would recommend living here it is really one of the best ones on this street."
