"I’m so happy and blessed to have found my new home at Belara lakes. After living in my home 23years ( and it was almost paid off!!!!) there was a house fire. My whole world was turned upside down. But office staff was so kind and helpful to me. They answered ever question I had. And they even took the time to help me with all the apps( I m 60and I get lost/ confused with all the computer stuff. Staff really made me feel at home. I’m glad god directed me to this living complex. May god bless each one of them."

"Every time I put in a request for maintenance, they come thru and handle. Just put a request in thru app not a big deal. Sewer seems to clog often because the tenants keep putting baby wipes and other items seems like some people just don’t get it. It’s not the complex it’s the people sometimes other than that Florida, family and most important God"

"On Nov 26, 2023 had a flood in hall bathroom and hallway. Water POURING from the roof. The ceiling was falling down from the leak. Maintence came out looked at the situation advised needed to go upstairs to address it. I have a huge hole in my bathroom ceiling, have flooring coming up in bathroom and hallway, have water bubbles and paint peeling in hallway and baseboards coming away from wall due to flooding. Maintence and management have been notified this has not been repaired since Nov 26, 2023. I have since had 2 more fluids from ceiling in the same areas one on Dec 1, 2023 and now again this morning. Water ever where. This has been going on for 6 weeks. 3 floods no repairs completed and no repair of the damages have holes in ceiling and water damage from it all. The owners of the apartment do not take care of Maintence issues at all. This issue needs yo be fixed and repaired. You do not want to live or move into this apartment complex until they take care of the Maintence issues and they are NOT handled in a timely manner at all. I am extremely frustrated with the fact the problem has not been fixed and the repairs from the damage has NOT been completed. This is NOT the first time this has happened this way either but the owners of the complex want to increase rent an additional $136.00 a month and do not want to take care of the Maintence issues. Beware of moving here. This apartment has had flooding issues so badly that black mold was in the walls and ceilings they had to gut the apartment and treat the mold and this is all starting over again. I would like to get this fixed correctly and to have the damage repaired from the water damages and flooded."

"We use to live here and it was horrible RATS, HOLES in the ceiling, mold in the ceiling!! Please don't not move here it's not worth the money and time they don't fix anything they will say it's complete and never step foot in your apartment. It's not worth it at all. If I can leave 0 stars I would."

"I submitted an application and the required paperwork to be added to the lease of an existing tenant as requested. Everything went through until a former tenant, that was related to the existing tenant, decided to for whatever her reasoning was, decided to go into the office and become belligerent with the staff and cause a ruckus. as a result of these actions and unbeknownst to the existing tenant, her lease renewal was denied, causing her to be displaced and eventually caused her to become homeless due to the unknowing actions of someone else. I hadn't even made it to town yet as a credit check was ran, and was assured that everything was approved, after spending quite a bit of money to prepare to relocate, we were told that we had to leave because of the actions of this former tenant, disrupting all of the plans of my relocation. The office was adamant about their decision. So much so, that no one would even tell us what we did. to which we hadn't done anything wrong, Everyone involved refused to give an explanation. As a result, i was displaced because of the senseless actions of someone else, my credit was pulled, i then had to secure a place to live. I am currently seeking legal counsel to bring a cause of action against Belara Lakes. Since no one was willing to tell either of us what we had done, i will leave it up to an attorney as soon as I file the necessary paperwork. You absolutely don't deserve any stars."
