"As a current resident here, save yourself the money and live somewhere else. Not only am I writing this review at 2:09 am because of the fire alarm going off. But the wireless has been down all day, the trash valet will not take our days old trash, and our ceiling is leaking. The hot tub is broken, majority of the machines in the gym are broken, and the elevator breaks every other week. Not to mention that the front office lost my roommates very expensive package just this morning. I will never recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy. The pricing only goes up, but the service, amenities, and cleanliness plummets."

"Had the worst experience at Avalon after living there for 3 years. Their roommates matching system was a scam. Been insulted and threatened by roommates multiple times but management didn’t do one thing about it -while I’ve sent tons of emails about the situation. Food got stolen, personal belongings damage and apartment looking like a trash can. Please save your money! They make an effort to make the tour as smooth as possible but they are really the worst regarding their residents ongoing issues. The front desk is passive aggressive and they are not trying to help at all."

"I love going into the apartment leasing office the worker there lexi helped me so much with all my questions. shes very polite and professional and very friendly. though i asked MANY questions she did not seem annoyed but continued to care. Thanks again Lexi!!!"

"My daughter has been here the past 2 years in a 3/3. Unfortunately, she will no longer need a 3/3 and was hoping a 1 bedroom was available. I've read the reviews that others have written. I am a parent and was not paid to do this review. I guess my daughter got very lucky with her apartment. She is in the back building, facing (what used to be) a garden. It is now just turf but still nice. Her neighbors are quiet, and when maintenance is needed, they come right away. I don't know if anyone else has looked at other student housing. This place is very spacious and has high ceilings (1st floor). All the other housing we've seen are small and cramped. Yes, the apartment was dirty. You cannot blame Avalon staff though. It's the people who moved out that lived like pigs. The washing machine was never cleaned. It was clogged with fabric softener. The lint remover in the dryer was never cleaned out. The fans were never dusted and the rugs have never been shampooed. Like any other place, you'll have to clean it and decorate it to your liking. Whoever moves in my daughter's apartment next year will be very lucky. She and her roommates have kept it cleaner than before they moved in. Rugs are shampooed, and all appliances are cleaned on a regular basis. She loves the gym and the pool. Parking is great. Lots of visitor parking spaces. We will definitely miss Avalon Heights."

"I have been moved in for almost two months and I have to say it’s been an unpleasant experience. Maintenance is unreliable, management does not communicate with residents or other staff well, and the apartment is infested with ants. Also, it is very overpriced for the apartment which is rundown and gross. The only redeeming quality is the location except residents are very loud and basically every night people are screaming till 4 am. I would not live here again. Find somewhere else."
