"We’ve lived here for a year but we’re moving out once our lease is up next week. Honestly, there’s worse properties in Tampa but Summit West also has some ups and downs. One thing is for sure, Summit West is BLESSED to have Mark and ALL the maintenance staff that work for them. Super kind and respond fast to any issues. Unlike other apartment communities, the Maintenance men here actually fix any issues that arise. Sadly, the lack of onsite support (they do not have staff in the office, you have to text a support line to speak to someone), the outrageous fees, and unsafe community is what made us choose to move on. Our rent was raised, extra fees are being added on for things like Wifi and such. Paying to have your packages delivered, guests having to pay for parking, etc. Times are tough, we all need a break. A community trying to nickel and dime you for everything is not right. Also, my home was broken into on our 1st month living here and nothing was ever done about it. Yes, they have painted the outside of apartments, updated pool furniture and redone the plumbing, but things like feeling safe inside your own home is far more important. On site security would be nice. Inside of units are out dated and they never came to fix the chunks missing out of my floor since the previous tenants of my unit due to “not being able to order that type of flooring”. I took my daughter to the park one day, 4 adults (ages 20-40 approximately) were smoking weed on the playground and two of the men had their guns in their waistband and shirt lifted so the guns were visible. This isn’t safe. Cosmetic changes are nice and needed, but safety is far more important. For the most part we did enjoy our stay here."

"I like it here, and I love the location of my unit! I have had a good experience with this being my first apartment here in Florida, everyone has been nice and Mark, the maintenance gentleman, HE IS THE BEST, always a helping hand, gets things fixed and I know he will not let things slip. He is quick to resolve my issues no matter how big or small they may be!"

"After three years of living here, I am still loving it. The Leasing office has always been prompt to answer any questions and resolve any issues that I brought to their attention Four stars overall, but I give the maintenance department five stars! They are prompt, efficient, professional, and never disappoint! Mark has been amazing my entire time living here!. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to live!"
