"My mother and I, moved in at Park Pointe Apartments in 2020. management had us fill out the application for the apartment in our car, the property manager opened the office door open just enough to give us the key. The day we moved in there was no walk through. The day we moved in the apartment we noticed that it had a foul smell and, there were markings throughout the apartment on the walls. Also, the glass light fixture on the ceiling above where a dinning table would be set at was broken and, I informed the property manager of this and, for months and months nothing was done to replace the broken glass light fixture. Months later I had to leave out of state for a few months to help one of my children at the time when my mother contracted the COVID-19, at this point, I could not come back home. My mother passed away on January 8, 2020. Park Point Apartment knowing of the “no eviction law” placed a “outstanding bill” on us for damages that were reported at the time of move in. In fact, there was a huge water leak due to their AC unit, I notified the office of it and they came with large fans to dry out the flooring and carpet. They left the fans running for over a week (that’s how bad the water leak was) well our electric bill went through the roof and I brought it up to managers attention and she said she’d get back to me on that and never did! Aside from that, the water bill every month was a nightmare! Whether you’re one person living alone or two people or even three or four people, you’re still going to pay the same price as everybody else.I met a family who had over 6 living all together and their water bill was $60.00. My mother and I took showers everyday but it was only us, oh and no washer & dryer and still paid $60.00! One month we both were gone for a week, and still had to pay $60.00, a family of 10 could be there everyday and they would pay $60.00! That is wrong! This is the worst place to live ever! Another issue was GERMAN ROACHES! They were EVERYWHERE!! So, when I placed everything in storage from the apartment, not surprising enough, I found German roaches in my personal belongings!"
"Peaceful, secure, the apartments are small and preppy, the events are super fun and have activities! I met a bunch of kids from my school, the pools are clean. There was a welcome back to school event which was pretty neat in itself. The office workers are very nice, hardworking and professional! Come in with a problem and they will fix it up in an instant! They take their job seriously and well overly just nice people."
"I currently live at 302 N. Hubert Ave. Tampa Fl. I dont know if they changed management, they are currently doing a roof project and debris is everywhere. I actually got hurt over the weekend because no one canvas the area at all. Second there are mice, rats and roaches all over my place. Thirdly its GROSSLY OVERPRICED. They knickle and dime you for fees for being late. Also a friend who just moved out because the top floor roof is leaking. HAVE YET TO GET THERE SECURITY DEPOSIT BACK. It was agreed by both parties that there security deposit be returned, it was unlivable. Im very unhappy here. Trust you can do much better elsewhere."
"I currently(6/2019) rent at Park Pointe. I have a love hate relationship with Park Pointe. The staff is great. We don't get to see the old manager thank God. Location is great. Be advise car insurance is higher in the area. Maintenance response is better. Gate hardly ever works. Landscape is maintained. Trash around the dumpster and complex is maintained throughout the day. Parking lot will flood during a hurricane. The apartments are spacious. My biggest pet peeve is the water. You will be paying a high bill for water you DON'T consume. You have to pay extra for the mini pool and the workout area is to be desired. Laundry on site. Across the street there is also a 24hr clean laundrymat with new machines. Did I mention the water? It's worth repeating. I feel like I'm getting robbed every month. Parking can be a nightmare. I wish they had assigned parking. At least one per apartment. They'll probably charge extra for that too.**UPDATE: New front office people seem to always have an attitude. Good luck on getting things fixed. Flooding is a big issue. Make sure your car insurance covers floods. Picture below is from 2021 and this is when the water was going down. Cars' door could not be opened without flooding the inside. Parking continues to be a problem."
"I personally live here right now as we speak, and I won't say it's the best but definitely not how people on here making it seem. The staff is excellent and they are always willing to help and find a solution if you have an issue. I do agree some apartments are a bit outdated but, they do have some renovated units which will of course cost a bit more in price but you get what you pay for. I personally have had not one issue here! My only complaint which does not go against them because it is nature and you cant really do anything about bugs, bugs are everywhere you go. I am happy living here it is kept very clean. The pool can use just a little more maintenance but it also has to do with the tenants not keeping it clean. The laundry facility can be cleaned better but if those are my only complaints then ill take it! A special thanks the girls in the office Natasha and Dixy they are wonderful and always there to help and I appreciate them very much. Living here is nice and not as bad as these reviews are making it seem. I also have 3 daughters and they love it as well. Tamika :)"
