"Terrible management company (Oak Hills / Regional Manager Nathan L. Naugle) Incompetent, unserious and unwilling to offer any solutions. They told me my pay stubs "looked fraudulent" because of supposed discrepancies. Neither me nor my company could see what they meant by discrepancies. They seem to be unable to do basic math. On top of that they did not notify me in order to work out a solution or ask for more documents but instead just flatly denied based on demonstrably false reasons. wasted my time and pretty much stole the $75 app fee. They (Oak Hills Group) are shady, unresponsive, bad at their jobs and unprofessional. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. DO NOT MOVE HERE."

"I don’t call maintenance very much but when I do they’re super friendly and so knowledgeable and can we say quick?!? Thank you, thank you! My apt is back to feeling cold and no more humidity!"

"This place is terrible. The apartment was so old that the kitchen cupboard shelves were worn down to raw particle board, which meant you got the dust and flakes in your food. Particle board contains formaldehyde. When I asked them to fix this they came in and without measuring they cut adhesive covering and put down, it peeled off at the corners within an hour or two. It didn’t even cover the shelves properly. And there were sharp screws poking through in some of the shelves. My dishwasher was not working when I moved in, and after almost 2 weeks of them not believing me they looked properly and replaced it, only for it to catch fire minutes after they left the apartment after installing it. There were human hairs on the bathroom wall that had been painted over before I moved in. The trash dumpster was located right outside of my apartment and it was regularly overflowing. Often we would see rats and raccoons. There was dog poop everywhere, even on the paths, so it was difficult for my children to walk around or play outside. I was there for almost 2 and a half years, and the front gate worked for maybe 6 or 7 months of that time. Anybody could just come in, and they did to use the pools. The water/sewer bills are not accurate. It’s one bill for the building you’re in which gets divided by how many apartments in the building are occupied, which means if you’re not there much or just don’t use much water then you’re paying for other tenants. When you leave they will find ways to get more money from you. I have two children and a service dog, so obviously things spill, so I regularly clean/shampoo my carpets. When I left I extensively shampooed the carpets to ensure they were clean in in good condition. After I left they pulled the carpets up and billed me for a new one because they found stains from spills etc.. on the underside of the carpet. I bet every home with carpets has stains underneath that nobody sees unless you tear the carpet up like they did. Upon leaving, despite my contract saying I would have a walkthrough with a representative, I was denied a walkthrough with a representative, and was told that their attorney had advised them to no longer do this. Some of the staff were pleasant, but some were sarcastic and rude when approaching them with issues. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere where you are treated better, somewhere that is safer, and somewhere where you won’t get scammed when you leave."

"I moved to Lincoln Shores sight unseen and i couldn't be happier. Ashley in the leasing office helped me from start to finish. She accomodated my needs to complete the rental process while still in NJ. This was helpful beyond belief. Ashley kept in contact with me throughout the process and even remembered my dogs name. Little things like that matter. The complex is clean, safe and quiet. The lake and pools are terrific. They have an nice fitness center also. I have had Excellent service with maintenance also. I thought I broke my garbage disposal. My sink was leaking and clogged. After submitting a work order, Maintenance arrived early the next day and quickly solved the problem. They showed me how to reset the unit if it happens again. The gentleman who came was pleasant, professional and quick. Maintenance also replaced the light over my sink while I was out. They are so neat that I would never have known they did work in my apartment if I did not see the new light. 10stars for Lincoln Shores. Thank you"
