5 West Apartments

"5 West is a great place the 3 years I spent there were some of the best 3 years of my life. I met amazing people that I will call friends for life and the amazing and friendly staff really does try to go above and beyond to make you feel like you have a home! I'd recommend it to anyone! The community is full of good neighborly people who are down to earth and just as friendly as the staff. Over the 3 years I was there 5 west made several upgrades to the property making the experience even better! You are right by the airport and central to most of Tampa ! 5 Stars for sure! Thank you 5 west for being a great home to me!"

"Alex in the front office answers my questions quickly and is always so kind. I submitted a ticket for both my washing machine and my A/C unit. Both issues were resolved within 24 hours. Alvaro did a great job and was very friendly. So far I'm very pleased with 5 West. The only issue has been that the trash compactor was overfull once for a few days, and that did not affect me directly at all."

"The service we received from new maintenance tech Alvaro today was great! He was extremely polite, friendly and respectful. Alvaro wasted no time in getting to the task and finished up very quickly - making sure to tidy up any mess left behind - which I appreciate very much! Thanks again for the prompt good service."

"This place has gone down-hill . If you want to overpay for rent and be treated poorly by management this is the place for you! Desiree is the Manager and has the worst customer service. She was very dismissive, unapologetic and had no empathy after an error on their end. Their website had a set price for rent and after I applied and as approved, I was told that it was a computer error and that rent was actually about $200 more than what they approved me for (not to mention about an additional $100 you have to pay they don’t include in the rent price). She was dismissive and did not care about working with me . After 40 days of not receiving my application refund and me reaching back out is when she advised that she made a mistake and never even sent the full amount until I reminded her. Not to mention rent is $500 more than when I lived here about 2 years ago and all they have done is paint the buildings on the outside and the parking lot."

"I been living here since January 2017, and there’s been a few changes of property management changes if the years i been here, but since 2022 the apartment standards have drop, the property is poorly maintained, my apartment has roach’s had to go many times to get a solution, and was been ignored, and this is just one of many things here. The manager Desiree dose have customer service skills. I keep with all the bad service of leaving here cause was close to my job, but can’t wait to end my lease to leave this place. By wouldn’t like to live in a apartment that someone die, if also you the on building 2 Apt #115 some has die. Google it"
