"Edit - The leasing office had been given the notice properly in person on 10th of july itself and was specifically asked only for 2 months of MTM lease. I have email communications as well with me ! They asked me for another notice to be provided around 15th August 2023, which was given to them around 22nd August. That is what they are calling “insufficient notice” while “conveniently” forgetting the notice given on 10th July. There was never a lease end reminder sent on to the door for MTM lease. The last lease end reminder sent to me was in May as they stated. If they are strict about “insufficient notice” for 1 week’s delay, why aren’t they following their timeline for on-door notices for MTM leases as well ? __________________________________________ 4 years of my stay in this community at apartment 5111, but the leasing office is not helpful at all in any of the processes. Here are some of the very serious issues that I faced - 1. July 10th this year, gave my proper notice that I will be moving out by end of September 2023 and only want to do month to month leasing for august and september - 2 months, but they are charging me now rent for October even after several notices. So I am going to end up paying all 3 months of month to month lease. Initially, i used to get bill (lease ending) notifications or lease end notices on my door. In my last duration of stay over there, i wasn’t sent any month-to-month lease end notice on my door. I found this was done very conveniently so I end up paying 3 month’s month-to-month rent. Exit process is made unnecessarily cringe and tiresome for everybody 2. Their technology package costs you $85 per month, yet their spectrum accounts are not under your name. They are under “bulk account” name and you would need to call spectrum community services to get that installed and also closed. No help on closing those services when you move out, even though you don’t own that account officially. You are left alone to handle all of it by yourself. Leasing office suck really in any of such communications 3. Their AC kept breaking all 4 years every month. Ended up creating 100s of tickets, it was never entirely fixed. They kept giving excuses every time, but no proper fix 4. Society had raccoon problem, trash problem (although you pay for valet trash). I was living in 5111 apartment and since 2022, the sand bellow the apartment building kept sliding, making it dangerous living in those apartments, created several tickets, they cleaned the sand couple of times, but never fixed the real issue. The sand kept sliding. 5. always bugs issues, lawn is never maintained and kept cleaned 6. Any concerns you bring up, leasing office has only one solution - Copy paste the contract line and send it over to you. I loved my apartment, but rest all the services totally suck over here !"
"Place is disgusting. When moved in was told the carpet would be cleaned, stains on walls, floors. Addressed the mold in the air vent. Took forever for them to fix. the fact the first time they just sprayed paint over to hide it. Now I have a leak in my ceiling they canceled work order and moved it to corporate, it’s been 2 weeks . Parking is terrible… the plumping is disgusting. Not to mention the amount of bugs that are found… when we moved in the door had a crack let in rain water and insects… took 3 work orders for them to fix & still even then the door has a hard time closing.. My guest bathroom smells like sewer water, and seems like everything falls apart day by day. Used the dishwasher for the first time the other day and it was broken. I was naive when I read the 5 star reviews but after coming to conclusion from other reviews of other tenants I’m realizing those are not real, especially after considering the way we are treated here. And upon moving in.. they don’t care and it’s really unfortunate. Considering concerns were addressed upon move in date. They get you in fast but don’t care once you are here. Me and my partner are having an awful experience at Tampa Woods apartment complex. The staff was incredibly unhelpful, and are told we need documentation to address mold concerns…. Or simply just saying things like “it’s not an emergency”? and maintenance will get to it when they get to it.. my apartment was freezing cold bricked ice.. with the ac unit happily that’s the only thing that was fixed and by fixed I mean, getting it to work. The walls were stained, and their attempts to fix things were often done incorrectly. Maintenance took an eternity to respond, regardless if you put a work order. I’ve called the emergency line and have been told to not call it again and to put in another work order.. and when they did “fix the issue” they just sprayed over the issues with paint. My apartment currently has persistent wall staining, which is affecting my health due to mold as for my partner too he never gets sick and everytime he sleeps in the bedroom he wakes up ridiculously congested. . Additionally, it smells very musty and moldy in this apartment. No matter how much I spray, clean.. put candles on there’s still that lingering fecal/musty.. smell I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Me and my partner are very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend if you want to rent here please turn the other way. It’s only been about 4 months & to Top it off!! Corporate left our door open …. not just unlocked… Yes … cracked open! A breach in the contract of privacy rights! & not to mention how many health violations they break! Especially after CORPORATE.. checking a roof leak & entering my apartment when not home! When we showed up at midnight what a pleasant surprise! This place is full of excuses, very unprofessional."
