"I lived in what we jokingly called the big house which was built before the kiss.Oaks CT. Which is on the same property! My husband Richard and I were one of the first residents! We had a handicapped apartment as Richard was disabled! After his death in 2007. I moved upstairs so another person who would those advantages could have it! I was very happy and would still be living there but in 2014 there was a new addition to my family and she lived in Wisconsin and needed her granny so made a life changing decision to move! The staff is on site Mon. Thru Fri. 9:-5. The Council on Aging provides many services including bus for shopping and bus to COA for activities! It is a HUD and section 8 property! If you are interested, ID get on the waiting list as it can take years to get an apartment!"
