"I have lived here for 7 years but it’s so bad here I think it’s time to find a new home . We are under construction for the past 7 months we were told 3 weeks per building but it’s been months and we are no where near finish. The work is poor quality ,open electric boxes I pray the children who reside here don’t get injured ! Debri everywhere , soffits falling down , nails in parking lots . The place is filthy , stairs , laundry room all disgusting I am embarrassed to call this place my home , the management does not care . They screen phone calls never answer . You request service they close the request with out doing anything . They don’t even return a phone call , you leave a message or work request it goes unanswered. The dumpster is disgusting trash everywhere, roaches everywhere .we pay for pest control but never see and treatment for pests .when I first moved in we had beautiful landscape now it’s trashed by carts driving all over the grass, the construction trashed bushes flowers etc , it’s a shame , they paint the halls then construction comes in and over sprays walls so now it’s a real mess , the balcony’s are ruined no quality control at all , no customer service the place is an eye sore with low level garbage work being done by amatures , still waiting since last year for a response on all my concerns ."

"Pay attention to what the good reviews are actually saying. All of them are complimenting individual people or are before they have even moved in. There is a reason for that. No one in their right mind would compliment this place after having lived in it. To say this complex is poorly run is an understatement. The construction that they promised would take 2-3 WEEKS per building, has now taken 7/8 MONTHS and they are not even close to finishing. In fact, they haven't even touched my building in the past 4 months so I don't expect to have full use of the unit I am paying for before my lease is up. Due to the prolonged construction there is debris and trash EVERYWHERE which is definitely not helping the massive pest problem this complex has. I have never seen so many cockroaches. We pay monthly for "pest control" yet they have not sprayed once since I moved in. Don't bother trying to contact the property manager Alicia about any of these issues because you won't get a response. I left two messages and an administrative question request through our resident portal, they just closed it without saying a word."

"PLEASE STAY CLEAR OF THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX. I have been living here for 3 years, we have only been here for so long because our rent is cheap. Do not believe the 4–5-star reviews, these people must get a discount on their rent to leave good reviews. They are currently doing renovations on all the buildings, and they may look good on the outside, however they are literally covering molding installations with plywood and cheap paneling. Renovations started on our building the first week of OCTOBER, it is currently Jan. 22, and they still are not done with our building. Not to mention the construction company leaves the parking lot a mess, both my boyfriend and I have had nails in our tires because they leave things a mess. There is garbage everywhere, causing a roach infestation no matter how clean you keep your apartment. Also, ducks pick through the trash and it’s disgusting. You are constantly dodging duck poop. It is absolutely embarrassing when I have friends & family come over and I have to say "watch for duck poop" or I have to fight away the roaches. This is a health issue, and the office doesn’t seem to care because it continues. Some of the maintenance crew is trash. We had an issue in our apartment that was a safety concern, and it took them 17 days to fix the issue. There is no communication between the office and the maintenance crew."

"Alicia and her staff are wonderful and easy to work with. Alicia is very helpful and accommodating and you can tell she manages a tight ship! We haven’t always had the easiest time at Marisol Vista, but the current office staff has continuously worked with us to make sure we are happy and content with our living arrangements which isn’t something you can’t find at every apartment complex - people who genuinely care!"

"I have been living here for about a year and some change and I can say living here is not worth it. The only pro is the location because you are about 20-30 minutes away from everything. Recently they just started renovating the outside and they are taking there sweet time. I pay MORE than $1700 for a one bedroom and I can’t even go outside to my balcony. It’s been almost 3 months since they started working on the buildings. They worked quickly on the front buildings because they didn’t want a bad look but for us residents in the back they do not care at all. On top of that the stairways, hallways, and laundry facilities are DISGUSTING .Garbage everywhere, causing an infestation of ROACHES entering your apartment no matter how clean you are. The laundry room always has clothes, lint, and even DOG FECES all over the floor. I’m in the military and my work schedule makes it difficult to stop by the office and I can never get ahold of anyone when I call. For the price, management, and cleanliness of this apartment complex I advise you to look somewhere else."
