"The property is whatever. It's a standard 50 year old termite infested, moldy , FL apartment complex. In 2021 the rent was cheap but you get what you pay for - which reminds me - I applied for a 1 bedroom and signed the lease sight unseen (my fault , but I trusted the pics from 5 hours away) and when I moved in I discovered I rented a studio. I take the blame for lack of due diligence, but shame on the company for advertising an eco 1 bedroom as a true. Also the "amenities" are laughably inadequate (ie: "gym" and dog park were clearly designed by someone who don't use either) and you don't get a discount on your rent when they are closed for 11months out of the year. The leasing staff chain smoke in front of the laundry so after you finish washing your neighbors' smoke off your clothing you have to walk thru Christina's grey smoke to get to your car..btw does she do anything besides stand out side and puff puff? The low rating is for the CLK management company and the office staff. They are the most petty, rude and unprofessional bunch of people I have ever had the displeasure of interacting with. Luckily I think they got rid of the Russian Lady I had to deal with at my move in, but her replacement Mike has no business working in a customer service related industry. He hangs up on you on the phone instead of giving any sort of helpful information. And Yoni (not actually her name, but I can't remember it) the property manager encourages her minions to seek illgal retaliation against tenants she personally doesn't like. They terminated everyone's lease with a 60 day notice regardless of how long was left in your lease. Some of my neighbors hadn't even lived there for a month before they got booted! Run run run far away! EDIT: @owner: not a miscommunication. I was told I had unauthorized residents living in my apartment and was given an eviction notice. I had to prove I HAD NOT VIOLATED MY LEASE and lived there alone. Yami even admitted she tried to evict me because I confronted her about a lie Mike had told me the day before. Tell me that's not personal."
"They offer for rent apartments that are still under renovation and do not release the lease within the agreed period, and on top of that they are left with the application fees. I do not recommend!"
"Called in to get more info on 1br listed as 861.00$. Per leasing agent these 1br apartments at STARTING AT* 1400$/per month. According to the representative, the company is "rebranding" and rates are not accurate."
"I had put a deposit down to be put on the waitlist for one of their remodeled apartments. Well, after two months of getting no updates, I decided to be taken off the waitlist and they won’t give me my deposit back after them stringing me along."
"They have refused to move these containers from the front of my unit. They were using them as receptacles for renovations, but now the renovators no longer use them. People are throwing their personal trash into them. They’re baking in the sun and beginning to stink. This is a health hazard. They charge me a premium for my renovated unit, and this is what I get to see and smell. If the renovators no longer use it, it needs to be removed. I’ve asked nicely via email but have been ignored twice so I unfortunately have to air my grievances publicly until these receptacles are removed. The residents have a trash can away from units with a cover on it. But the complex has made no effort to send a community email to everyone to not use these as their public trash cans. I’m beyond disappointed and hope this is resolved soon before I need to report this to higher authorities to fix the issue."
