"I love it here ! quiet , managers and maintenance are amazing."
"The First Amendment to the United States Constitution protects many of the civil rights, we enjoy in this country: freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of the press. First time that I wrote to talk about my personal experience, because of the UNPROFESSIONAL treatment that we have experienced in the last days by the new Clara Place Apts Resident Managers. We have been living in this apartment complex for 10 years, and 4 months. Before, this place was good to live, when the resident landlords were Frank and Katy Palumbo (the best ones). They were professional, kind, motivating, empathetic people, but above all, They were RESPECTFUL with all the apartment residents. They made you feel that you were at home. If You had any problem in the apartment, they came immediately and the problem was solved quickly. Recently, 2023, We have reported several things that need to be fixed in the apartment, problems like Fungus in the bathrooms, and in the Bedrooms, (the new resident managers never corrected it). Exposure to damp and moldy environments could cause different health effects. Other unsolved problem, was the air conditioner in the living room, instead of pulling the water out, pulled it in, and that kept the carpet in the living room damp and smelly, and they never bothered to change the air conditioner, or the carpet, They just took the water exporadically, mostly of the time I had to do it myself. Another thing, these apartments do not have any fence, and the complex is open to the public, which makes them insecure. We have found that our vehicles have been opened, and stolen, on several occasions, as a consequence of all the thefts we suffered, and no help or support from the people in the office, we decided to buy a camera, and put it outside, immediately, the lady who is in the office brought a letter, ordering us to remove it. They have cameras in the complex, that are only used to monitor the tenants. CURRENT resident managers or Landlords, make you feel you are not at home. They act with discrimination, lack of respect, attitude, people without education in values , lying, troublesome people, and the worst, they like record residents without their consent. As US citizens We have rights. About Parking, they allow you only 2 vehicles, per apartment, and they make your life impossible if you have another vehicle, they expect you to leave it in any other outdoor parking lot, and with no one to take care of it. They raise false slanders, call the police, make reports, without having physical evidence too."
"I have never had a problem parking to visit friends. There is plenty of parking."
"I lived here for about 2 years and this is a great complex. The previous property manager, Kathy, and the new property managers, Beth and her husband, are all very nice and professional people. The units are clean and kept up to date between tenants, and the rents here compared to many places I looked before living here are extremely reasonable. I started off in a 1 bedroom and moved over to a 2 bedroom after less than a year. The neighbors I had were all nice people and quiet. No one blasting loud music or partying at all. All units have washer & dryer hookups, which I love because I really don't like going to the laundromat. The laundry area is also a huge storage space which is a major bonus. I don't think any other apartments I've ever lived in had a storage area, and it's something that just makes sense! One of my favorite things about these units is the kitchen size. You rarely find apartments with large kitchens. Most of the time they're so small you can barely turn around, let alone try to cook real meals. The kitchens here are huge for an apartment. There's plenty of cupboard space, a pantry closet for dry foods, and there is a dishwasher and garbage disposal in every unit too. There's also somewhat of an island in the kitchen where you can put together recipes or sit down to eat. I put 2 stools on the side if the island facing the kitchen and it worked out great to sit down and eat there. If there's availability and you can afford it, I recommend the 2 bedroom even for a single person. The 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom are the exact same layout when it comes to the first bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, storage area, and living room. The 2 bedroom just has a whole other room added on to it with a door to the second master bed/bath off the living room. The master bedroom in the 2 bedroom has a spacious walk-in closet and the second bathroom is in your bedroom. I liked this because when guests come they could just use the other bathroom right near the first bedroom, which became my office when I moved to the 2 bedroom."
"Management has been great from the start. I moved in 2016 and still here 2021. Kathy is great, she has always communicated well, attended any maintenance issues immediately & is always nice to my child. We moved here when she was 5 yrs old and she is now 10 & Kathy is still great with her. The only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 is that the apartments really need updating from flooring to walls and everything in between."
